They did last free agency so I don't know why they wouldn't this one. Though Miller has said that "Memphis knows how badly I want to be here" on a radio show right before free agency, basically saying that if they want him there too and offer him a fair deal, he'll stay.

It's crazy, Mike Miller would actually be Presti's best free agency pickup ever as a GM, and thats just talking strict talent wise :oldlol:

OKC is easily his best shot to contend if thats all that he wants to do. Not only because they are the best contenders without him but also because they probably benefit the most from his addition.

Lol yeah I saw Presti's free agency history today, it's insane:

Signed C.J. Miles to an offer sheet in 2008 (Utah matched)
Signed Nenad Krstic in Dec. 2008
Signed Kevin Ollie in 2009
Signed Royal Ivey in 2010
Signed Derek Fisher in March 2012
Signed Hasheem Thabeet in 2013
Signed Derek Fisher in Feb. 2013
Signed Derek Fisher in July 2013
Signed Caron Butler in March 2014

The guy goes from being an ALPHA BOSS on draft night to the exact opposite in free agency

Presti is out to make a profit, not spend. :confusedshrug:

I think like what Miller said himself, he's best place to stay would be with the Grizzlies.

he provides that team veteran locker room leadership a little bit similar to Derek Fisher.

but asking him to just go to OKC and try to provide that isn't really possible.

I don't think there's a lack of intangibles in the OKC locker room, but a few holes on talents, and a little bit on the XsOs.

Derek Fisher had already played for the OKC.
so having a proven championship veteran player on the OKC isn't going to do much when they are going to need solid production at mismatches.

OKC is the 5th most profitable franchise in the NBA, $29million in net profit.

how is paying Nenad Krstic 5 mil per year before the development of Ibaka a bad signing?

Heck, if the guy could still produce, 5 mil per year is about what he'd deserve for a 8/5 guy who gives you some defense on a team that has enough scorer.

Ed Davis listening?

lol I never said it was a bad signing but when that is the highlight of all of your free agency signings ever, in like 7 years, then maybe you need to be a bit more proactive in that area of the offseason

Recruiting role players to your team =/= ditching your franchise to go team up with a Final MVP and play with him on HIS team

But regardless, I doubt Durant was recruiting much. They share the same offseason trainer and were probably just chilling together after a workout.

Would be a nice pickup but I doubt it. He wants Memphis and OKC sits on their hands in free agency. They wouldn't even go after Marco fvcking Belinelli when Durant wanted him :lol
