Just couldn't stay healthy enough, and got shafted out of some All-NBA and Defensive First Teams. LeBron did him no favors costing him what would have been a HUGE 2nd Finals MVP for his legacy

Agree about 2011, though I'm not big on accolades in general. Everybody knows how ridiculously good he was in his prime.

I think he was doomed from the start though, when his meniscus was removed instead of repaired. It might have been a problem anyway, but we were certainly cheated out of more vintage performances from Wade.

Wade was at or near top form in '11 and I don't think the Heat beat the Spurs this year even with that Wade. The Heat would be 2/4 regardless IMO.

I still think it was an unwinnable series. The games would be closer, but the Spurs were passing and shooting ridiculously well. Wade would help obviously hitting shots and would be very active defensively, but the Spurs made tons of contested jumpers.
