Lebron is on such a level that he is not the "anybody" of this era. The dude is unique. He seems to be struggling against something internally. I believe we have yet to see him peak as it seems that he hasn't quite gotten past whatever it is inside him.

Malone...or Barkley. Whichever.
I don't want to derail this thread, though. Stop trolling.

Explain this, brother. Just curious.
I don't think it's what's inside him, but rather what's not.
You either have IT or you DONT.

I'd call LeBron the Wilt of our era, that's probably the closest comparison I can come up with

Bump.
I'm seeing more of a Big O comparison. Anybody want to shed some light on this? Is it true? They just some bonafide stat padders?

Robertson won 50+ games once and had 4 losing seasons before he joined KAJ in Milwaukee. That is not comparable to LeBron winning 2 rings, making 5 Finals and 6 ECF's while routinely winning 50+ and thrice winning 60+.
The Hakeem argument does not hold. Hakeem was never the clear cut best player in the league and his dominance was brief. Outside of 1993-1995 Hakeem was not a top 5 player in most seasons with one or more of old KAJ, Robinson, Ewing (and I believe also Daughtery) finishing ahead of him in all-NBA voting. That would be like Durant, Carmelo, and Paul George finishing ahead of LeBron several times. LeBron is the MJ, KAJ of this era as the clear cut best player just like they were in the 70's and 90's

You could be right. He seems somehow lacking, in any case, although he has generally been kicking ass since being a pro. He doesn't seem to have what Hakeem or Jordan had. So...He is the Lebron of this era...the King...crowned prematurely and somehow fcked up because of it.
