+ joel Embiid
+ Dario Saric
+ next years possible #1 pick
+ enough cap room to land 2 max contract free agents
+ kobe grew up there
PG - Carter Williams
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - #1 Pick or max free agent
PF - Nerlens Noel or dario saric
C - Joel Embiid

He could. It just seems unlikely.
They wont want him. If they do it will be because he is still good. If he is still good, he will remain a Laker.

Why do you want Kobe to join a stacked team where he'd be the 5th best player?
And why are you relying on having cap for 2 max agents? (What did Kobe do?)

Apologies if I'm misreading this griff, but you're not suggesting Kobe after two more years (he'd be 38 going into the season) would be worth a max contract, are you? Because you mentioned that they'd have room for two max guys, but only listed one.

kobes worth a max contract even in a wheel chair.
the type of revenue, marketing, attendance, jersey sales he would bring to the sixers would be worth 100 mill a season..
i'm positive the minute the lakers are done giving him max contracts. some team will be willing to shell out the dough
and besides.. if he can play hes putting up numbers. if he cant play hes gonna retire.

Kobe is from Lower Merion Township, not Philly. Yes, Lower Merion is in the Philly metro area, but it's worlds apart in terms of culture/demographics/values. That said, I highly doubt Kobe identifies with the average Philadelphian and likely has no desire to play there.

he grew up in philly ( mostly.. asside from a brief life in Italy )
his dad played for the sixers
he hung out with dr j as a child
hes a fan of the eagles for a reason
he still has family there
yea he didnt grow up in the projects. but i'm sure the average "Philadelphian" isnt some hood rat bum who cant afford tickets to games anyway.
you're confusing philly with detroit.
this isnt fresh prince of bel-air
you dont have to worry about getting tornado torture racks if you go play basketball in the park

The fact that they wont want him.
Kobe is retiring a laker. No way he smudges that. Also for fun if say he were looking to sign elsewhere possible Phill? I pray to GOBB sixers don't entertain him. Do not want.

Why would they want Kobe when they already have Tony Wroten?
2014 Tony Wroten: 13 ppg on 42%
2014 Kobe Bryant: 13 ppg on 42%
Younger and much cheaper than Kobe.

I grew up in cold weather and still have family there. I have no desire to move from nice weather to shit weather. I think most NBA players are similar.
