...or will the hate the Heat less and like whatever team LeBron goes to

...or will you hate whatever team LeBron goes to and still hate the Heat

..it's all a bit confusing..to be honest

I would hate Lebron less.....and I would hate the Heat less.

I hope that makes sense

I wouldn't care either way.

why hate? the guy has the right to make their own decisions, yet do not see him going to play in the west

The lack of loyalty would be astounding...

Will the Heat even have a fanbase if/when Bron jumps ship?

Judging from the way they bailed before the end of the finals game 6 in 2012 I'm figuring no.

It's not a matter of hating LeBron, OP.

It's just that if he keeps jumping from sinking ship to sinking ship in his prime to ring-chase and still might not end up with as many rings as Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Duncan, etc. Then it'll be really hard to compare his greatness/championship accomplishments to those players. Aka, the value of his rings would be diminished.

When he left Cleveland, most people give him a free pass because it is such a sh*tty organization, and he gave them many years to get it right, but the fact that he had to collude with 2 other all-stars in their primes to team up left a bad taste in many people's mouth.

And now he's looking to jump ship AGAIN? Dude isn't even in his 30's yet.

And this after 10+ years of the media and BSPN shoving the LeBron d*ck down our collective throats.

Of course the LeBron Stans will jump up in defense of him, because they aren't fans of any team (just whatever team LeBron is on). And most of them are 15 year olds who are used to seeing this new age of artificial, entitled superstar instead of real old-school G's that stuck it out with one franchise or won the majority of their chips with just one franchise.

No hate but disappointment if he goes anywhere except for Cleveland. Playing for three different teams before he turns 30 is a bad look legacy wise. Either he says or goes back to the Cavs.

hated the heat and wade even before lebron joined them. hated them even more when lebron joined them.

liked lebron while he was on the cavs. started to hate him when the whole decision thing was all anyone could talk about. immediately became the 2nd most hated player after wade after joining the heat via collusiongate. then came the welcoming parade with not six not seven comments.

loved it when mavs kicked his and wade's butt in 2011.

ignored it when he won in 12 and 13 but was rooting strongly against him and his team.

loved it when he got whooped by the spurs in 2014.

starting to hate him at a whole new level after the series of events that have just unfolded that we are just witnessing. starting to feel awful for wade and bosh who opted out of sure money to accommodate him but he's still willing to give them the finger.

would hate him no matter which team he goes to next. even if its mine own(mavs). would root for the mavs but not the player. and even if the mavs win with lebron it would not nearly be as satisfying as 2011.

See, I dont buy this bs narrative. This is what the media would like you to believe because even though LeBron has already lost 3 times in the finals, they so desperately want to keep the whole "LeBron next/better than MJ" narrative alive.

I don't get how him going back to Cleveland isn't just as opportunistic and b*tchmade as going to any other good/better team? Because he played there once already? What a crock of sh*t. You could even make the argument that the Cavs are in better position to contend with him than the Heat because they have younger players, an up and coming all-star in Kyrie who's best years are ahead of him (unlike Wade). The next athletic freak/prodigy in Wiggins (who they could trade for an all-star like Kevin Love), and the most #1 picks since the 80-something Lakers.

If he leaves again, no matter where he goes, he's a ring-chasing b*tch.

I will dislike the Heat a little less.

I will lose a little bit of whatever respect I have for Bron.

Last one depends on the team.

It's of no concern to me unless he joins my team or we end up facing his team in the playoffs.

Here's my guess with the hate if LeBron is leaving....

LeBron will be hated more if he leaves the Heat for the Lakers

LeBron will be hated if he goes to the Knicks or the Bulls

LeBron will be hated less if he chooses Rockets or Suns

LeBron will get no hate if he goes back to the Cavs.

Some of that is true, but if he stays in Miami they are heavy favorites again to come out of the East. The Cavs may look better on paper than the Heat right now in terms of supporting cast, but remember the Cavs haven't made the playoffs since LeBron left and were the 10th seed in the weak East this season. All the Cavs have added is Wiggins. Going back to Cleveland has some risk. There's no guarantee what happens if LeBron plays with those young guys deep in the postseason.
