Lin is going to be moved regardless. If Lin is traded, that frees up 20m in cap space the Rockets can use to sign Bosh (15m?), sign another player (MLE), and then match Parsons offer.

Maybe look at Jameer as the PG with Bev as the backup, maybe grab boozer on the cheap, and a back up C somewhere along the way...

Point is, 20m was freed up for Melo, and should he choose to go elsewhere, signing Bosh would still leave Houston with 5m and the MLE with Parsons Bird Rights. There's a lot of things they could do.

Oh and two first round picks (their own and probably lotto NO pick) and 3 second round picks (two of which will be high from NY and Minn) for next year's draft. Someone will be traded, and Houston will have a stacked ass team. I've said from the beginning Melo would not be the difference maker if he didn't come as long as Bosh (who is cheaper) or Love came up. Turns out signing Bosh for 5m less than Melo is a blessing in disguise.
