And not a very good one either. 2/5 almost on the verge of 1/5 in a historically weak eastern conference. One being a lock out season.

And if he stayed on the Cavs and won nothing, the story would be he was a beta choker who won no rings. :confusedshrug:

Cavs Bran def wasn't considered a beta. That moniker came about from joining Wade's team.

No. It only happened because he bitched n moaned, and tanked a finals. That coupled with Wade's decline from age and injury made LeBron the better player on the team.
Heat is still Wade's team to REAL Miami fans.

I'm just trolling the trolls who say that "everyone outside of Miami hates him", "he will always be remembered as a colluder/choker/ring chaser, etc.". His popularity contradicts the mindless ISH haters both amongst casual and seasoned fans.
But I agree that the ONLY thing that matters in a player's legacy is his worth on the court. but the haters deny his value and his place all time by posting irrelevant, inconsequential, ridiculous, ludicrous nonsense so I like to smack them back down every now and then.

Im sorry butthurt ISH Kobetard #687 but ring chasing is not coming to a bad team that barely reached the 8th seed either missing the playoffs or losing in 1st round since 2006 and instantly throttle that team on his back towards 4 straight Finals and 2 championships as the best player on that team and on the planet..... Ring chasing is coming to for example THAT championship team hunting for a ring, having a ring literally given to you no matter what you do, coming to a team knowing 100% you will get a ring handed to you on a silverplate, usually done by veterans...
Lebron sure is championship driven though, so he went out to seek greener pastures after playing with scrubs for 7 years, but HE was the main reason towards any of the success that followed.... he still had to work even harder to get those championships, it wasnt really any dance on the roses... he progressed it & earned it himself...

No. I'm a real Heat fan and it's LeBron's team. Wade took a back seat in order for them to win. Even Wade will tell you it's LeBron's team. Wade doesn't get enough credit for accepting a sidekick role after being the man guy for so many years.
I seriously dont get you Kobetards though, this is not 2007.... I know you hate Lebron for your obvious agenda in honor of Kobe but that at this moment doesnt make sense..... I mean Kobe is not that player anymore and/or done and/or soon to retire, in bad position team success wise... meanwhile Lebron is in the most extreme opposite situation to that at this moment, there is nothing for you to rival about, its the absolutely worst time to be a Lebron hater.... you need to learn to live with his success if you want to continue watching NBA, there is no material out there for you at all until you wait for a couple of years where he manages to finally one year NOT win a championship/fmvp or mvp, like this year..........

No other all-time great would have promised their hometown city a championship, only to leave them high and dry several years later. That repeated failure of not having enough help would have driven even the smallest minded superstar to improve their game while trying to get more help, but such was not the case with your precious LeBron.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Pat Riley recruit LeBron along with Bosh with the assistance of Wade?
Now go crawl back into your hole.

No worries, Sarcastic's "logic" is pretty much used by rednecks as I used to encounter these type of people all over the internet after the Heat lost in 2011. There's really no point trying to argue.
Majority of the people with their heads on straight already know James runs the show and they go as far as he does. And if the there are "real Heat fans" that think that way, their just biased homers for Wade or biased detractors for James.

Define ring chaser. What is your definition? It might be different from mine. By my definition, if the player is the best player on any team he goes to he is not a ringchaser, he is being the alpha dog. If you disagree with it, that's fine, we can agree to disagree

That the 13 million or so followers and the followers on Forbes will have a far different opinion on LeBron James than his detractors will on here. You say term ring chasing is a fact or some negative to LeBron, when it's not. Since when did a #1 option with a career like LeBron become a "ring chaser", when your doing the heavy lifting on the team ? This garbage as perspective and logic belongs to someone Chris Bosh more than did does for LeBron. If it's for older players, it belongs to Ray Allen.
But here's the even fault in all the detractors logic... players play the game to win. What the **** else are they supposed to do when the come into the league till the end of the career ? There's isn't some rule book where your supposed to win a title in a particular circumstance for every single individual and team. Not every title run is equal.
I don't expect much logic from detractors and this thread, though. If he never won a title, it's because he's soft and a beta. If he wins, it's because he colluded so it doesn't count, and he's a ring chaser.

No other all-time great would have promised their hometown city a championship, only to leave them high and dry several years later.
Free agency as we know it did not even exist until the late 80's and it was not until this century that it became relatively common for elite players to switch teams via free agency (Shaq is the only one who did so in his prime in the 90's). There will be more LeBron's in the future. This isn't the 60's where players weren't changing teams as free agents.
Greatest achievement(s) so far are his 4 NBA MVP Awards in addition to an ATG peak and a memorable 2012 Finals run. The competition and strength of era for the aforementioned is subject to debate and another matter, but winning three-plus doesn't really happen by accident and he's in elite company there.
6 - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1971, 1972, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1980)
5 - Bill Russell (1958, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965)
5 - Michael Jordan (1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1998)
4 - Wilt Chamberlain (1960, 1966, 1967, 1968)
4 - Lebron James (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013)
3 - Larry Bird (1984, 1985, 1986)

Exactly. Other than some diehard basketball fans, no one calls him a "colluder" or "ring chaser." He is viewed by the general public as the best player in the game and this generation's GOAT caliber player.

This proccess is foolish.
What should have happened: Lebron should have re-signed within one hour of free agency opening. for the absolute maximum. The Heat would be in a much better position than they are now.
I don't think he's a ring chaser but he definitely has beta mentality, a mental midget, a follower.
Just look at his post-game press conferences, he always need Wade to answer his questions.
