It must be annoying being a rondo fan and hearing trading rumors all the time.

How about a sign and trade with the Heat?

Rondo + Sullinger + Green + Bradley for Wade + Haslem?

A team full of players who can't shoot. Drummond, Smith, Rondo.

An all-star in Rondo, plus a few role players for a superstar in Wade, and a energy/hustle guy in Haslem.

Looks good to me.

could not agree more, especially with a guy on the last year of his contract.

it's why teams think that getting Kevin Love is the safest bet ever
and that if your team gets Dwight Howard, you're always going to get something back in return.

I could go on.

brain cells.

I hope Rondo never gets traded either, to me he embodies a lot of the traits of past Celtics players like Hondo and Bird. More importantly he has some conection to what winning and being competitive in Boston means, so trading him means it will be much harder cultivating a winning culture.

I think the Celtics and Rondo are in an interesting position in their Rebuild/his career. Unlike the last rebuild I don't think Rondo is as patient as Pierce even though the Celtics are further ahead in attaining assets than they were during 05-07. Unfortunately I feel the Celtics will trade him.

I think he'll get traded before the season starts.

I feel like the Celtics haven't got an offer yet, they would like.
And I'm not sure anyone is going to offer something big for him.
So things looking interesting for sure.
Let's see how he performs this year (he's got a lot to prove) and how much he's going to demand.

It depends. Right now, there really isn't a good trade out there to improve the team short-term which is why he could well get traded (and I'd rather he was than him just turning the Celtics into a mediocre 8th seed for the next 5 years). Love isn't realistic by the looks of things and there isn't a centre on the market who's worth what it'd take to trade for them. Yeah, someone like Pekovic might be available but he's expensive and not a defender. I'm somewhat intruiged by the possibility of trading for Hibbert but I'd want to be able to put an elite PF next to him to make it worthwhile.

I'd trade him for Stauskas, IT2 and a future 1st.
You could probably talk me into Calderon, Cleanthony Early and dumping Wallace if it looked like he was leaving at the end of the season.
