Sadly, we will never see Messi of 2 years ago again and I pretty much called it. It is hard to duplicate those seasons and he has been on a very hard decline physically and mentally.

Welp, neither team really deserved the win so I can't complain too much.

Finally Van Gaal's streak of making sound ( sometimes incredible) tactical choices came to an end, the 5-3-2 played right into Argentina's hand. He should have thrown some egg on Argentina's face by switching to a 433 in the second half, but I think he couldn't bring himself to it until Argentina scored a goal first. Then bringing on Huntelaar, yikes, such a bad decision.
