But, of course it is possible LeBron decides tomorrow.

I've thought about this, and while I wouldn't care if Lebron left, I would certainly consider him stupid if he did. Mainly for the way he'd be viewed in the basketball community, and because of how stupid his thought process must be.
Who in their right mind leaves a team that just went to 4 straight championships? If his goal is to win, certainly Miami have done a good job of providing that possibility. If his goal is to make money, once again, Miami is the best place.
I'm not sure what his intentions are, but even if they are as stupid as might turn out, it won't change my opinion of him as a basketball player. He clearly is one of, if not the best to ever step on the basketball court. He literally does it all.

I'm guessing he sent that after Napier went like 3/17 or whatever. If anything it sounds like something a teammate would send.
Anyways before the off-season I said 75% Miami, 20% Cleveland, 5% Other - I'm sticking with that

I see a few factors:
1) Younger more healthy supporting cast
2) Hometown effect
3) His need to repair his image in Cleveland and to live up to his promise,
other than that, everything else favours Miami.

This Miami team is a sinking ship right now. Wade will only get worse. Bosh is too inconsistent. The rest of the supporting cast is too old and slow. The defensive system used by Spo is getting figured out by many teams.
Unless Wade, Lebron and Bosh get significant paycuts, this Miami team wouldnt be the right team to win championships. They really need to upgrade the supporting cast.

I already have one that is buried somewhere in my closet.. With that said I would not blame Lebron for Leaving Cause Clev is a team full of guys with Fresh legs and big talent. If He stays with Miami some changes need to be made. Lets look at a possible move to Cavs U have Irving Way better than Chalmes or Cole than Waiters a poor mans Wade with Fresh legs. Could turn Wiggins into Love who is a better version of Bosh cause he rebounds. Thompson and Andy V at Center also an upgrade form What Heat had. Plus another Young guy with Upside in Bennet. Than add a guy like Allen or a couple other Vets join roster and Clev is instantly a championship contender and Lebron can mold the Young guys and also as he Ages can still be on a team who has guys in their prime and compete while Lebron does less.

This is what I've said the last three days. People were talking about all these other cities and I'm sitting there thinking, "You do realize he's not up-rooting his family again and move them right? He's going to go to Cleveland or Miami where him and his family spends their time. It's a waste of time for any other team to talk to his agent."
And then they negged me anonymous.

Long-time Lakers fan chiming in here. This is the most insane thing I've heard so far. Assume you could make the salaries work (you cannot) -- Let's just look at this from a basketball perspective. Why would LeBron believe that Kobe and Melo would be a better complement to his talent than Wade and Bosh.
Huge fan of Kobe but he's a defensive liability these days, Wade is not. Bosh is more complementary to a team than Melo could ever be. I feel dumber for even reading the tweet.

Pau Gasol plays a big role here.
Battier's retirement makes a bigger difference than people imagine.
Battier + Ray Allen might = Pau Gasol's impact given the lack of bigs on the Heat team.
think Thompson + Lee for Love trade.

The civil war between legit die hard Cavs fans and Bran dick riders would be priceless. Every game thread would be mass chaos.
It was so much different with the Heat because they didn't really have that big of a fan base. The Bran stans were just filling a mostly empty vacancy. Different story if he goes back to Cleveland though, especially after they spent the last 4 years poking fun at Cavs fans for not being shameless bandwagoners.

How can you acknowledge he's "one of if not the best" players to ever play.....but not care if LeBron left?
So you're cool with the Heat returning to the shit pile they were from 2007-2010?
Or are you essentially taking the RBA approach to this whole "dilemma" and preventing yourself from being disappointed in case he does leave?
I mean, I wouldn't blame you, like I don't blame him. But, I don't know how you can think so highly of a player but not care if he leaves your franchise.

If he has any sense he's going back to Cleveland. They could have a starting five of Kyrie Wiggins Bron Thompson and Varejo with Waiters and Bennet coming off the bench with an intriguing coach. He's had to carry Miami so hard over the last two seasons, and their roster is only going to get worse. Plus, I don't think the Heat are getting any FA at a discounted price because the entire league hates them at this point. Gilbert and Lebron would have to make ammends, and it will be a nice homecoming story.

IF that ever happened would think Waiters would start with Wiggins off bench along with Bennet. I think Cavs could also Deal one of those guys for a guy that is established like Love. Lebron would not want to be the ONLY guy with Playoff experience on team either so they would also have to bring in a couple more seasoned Vets.

This is flawed logic and you know it. The reason the Heat got to four straight Finals was because they had LeBron and the East being crap. You can stick LeBron in Chicago, Indiana, Washington or Toronto and they'd be in next year's Finals. You could also stick him in a few other West teams and they'd be heavy Finals contenders, albeit it'd be a tougher road.
You're right about the money, no one can offer LeBron more than Miami but he makes much more money from endorsements that he can take less and put himself in a better position to compete for more titles with younger talented teams. I still think he stays with Miami, I just can't believe he would do Wade and Bosh so dirty but he might sign a 2-3 year contract with an opt out clause in the second year to give himself room to manuever if Miami fails to make enough of a splash in free agency and he's stuck carrying the huge workload.

It's either the Heat, or he picks the Suns.

Amico is a nice guy...but one of the worst sources in the entire league. His stuff almost never comes true...not even by accident.
But, of course it is possible LeBron decides tomorrow.
Amico has actually been somewhat credible lately. Welp, at least his ''sources'' aren't RCF posters anymore.

Well Gilbert picked up Big Z for his flight to miami to talk with LeBron for a reason. Hopefully it's Cavs.
It's gonna be awkward if Lebron re-signs with the Cavs. They burned his jerseys, and Dan Gilbert wrote him a letter. But he's been friends with Z, and Z even followed him in Miami.

I live in a different country. I was a Jordan fan when I was 8 in 1995, and followed him in Washington.
Same with Lebron. He's my favorite player.
Most of your posts is all about Kobe. You are just a stan and fanboy like me.

Hopefully he leaves the Heat for a Western Conference team like Phoenix or Houston. I don't see that happening though. I think he's staying in South Beach.

People are really overrating the west. Heat are 22-10 against the west this year. 23-7 against the west last year. and Only losses 4 games against the west during the lockout season.
Cleveland Lebron also had a solid record against the western conference teams. and his stats are actually much better.

He'll be bringing Silkk, pauk, and the rest of the crew with him.
Yikes. Fck that.
To think good fans like rba will have to listen to king will ball jerking off in the game threads to every little thing lebron does :(
Silk has been quiet lately. That POS Still getting over spurs dismantling the heat :oldlol:

I don't see how he leaves the Heat. I guess Cavs are an option, but would you really want an unproven coach and a bunch of young guys to end your career? I know Miami has major depth issues, but I just can't imagine him going away from Riley at this point. Today into tomorrow is gonna be wild.

if lebron leaves, so does bosh. heatles breaking up...won't even make playoffs in that case
The Heat are the most stacked team of all time per ISH. What do you mean we won't win the championship without James?

O really? :biggums:
LeBron is gonna win an NBA Championship someday. I am still a Cavaliers fan even if LeBron sign with the Bulls, Knicks, or Nets.

So how did it go from still being a cavs fan regardless of where Lebron went... To completly being a Miami fan and constantly shitting on the cavs franchise... To simply following Lebron wherever he goes?
Are you simply just becoming more honest as time goes on... Or are you a pathological liar :biggums:
You are being judged in the court of Public opinion.. And I'm afraid that its time for you to present your case

If he takes the Cavs to the Finals next year with a 19 year old Wiggins as their third best player and a still raw Kyrie Irving as his Pippen, he's the GOAT.

I get that Cleveland fans don't want the bandwagoners back. What I don't get is that you'd deny yourselves the best player in the world just to avoid the bandwagoners. That's the very essence of the phrase "Cutting off your nose to spite your face.":oldlol:
I know Cleveland's never won anything so their fans don't know but here's the reality; no matter who you win with, there will be bandwagoners. It's a necessary evil.
