Miami is hoping Bosh signs with Houston so they can offer his money to Melo. This would be the best case scenario for everyone. If Houston wants to overpay that overrated softy I say let them. Even if the Heat don't sign Melo they can use Bosh's money on players who actually show up during the playoffs! Bosh is so replaceable it's not even funny.

Why would Melo go to the Heat? Start the damn rebuild if Lebron leaves. Bosh and Melo arent talking this team anywhere.

Not Melo and Bosh, it would be LeBron and Carmelo.

Stephen A. Smith doesn't feel LeBron or Carmelo are the ones holding up free agency because they can take all the time they need and they'll still have max contracts available to them. Other players though don't have that advantage, such as Chris Bosh. He stated he feels Chris Bosh is the one holding up LeBron's decision because if Bosh leaves for the max in Houston, the Heat can think start recruit Carmelo to come to Miami. Or that will tell LeBron he can make his decision and just leave anyway.

Personally I don't think this is the way it is. I think it's LeBron holding everything up. I think LeBron has a decision already made in his mind and it's Cleveland. And he's going to meet with Riley in the next couple of days to either thank him, or to see if Riley can convince him to stay in Miami. Once Bosh knows what LeBron is doing, Bosh will make his choice.

He would go to the Heat to play with Lebron of course. Bron will teach Melo how to win!

No that is Lebron staying scenario. I also said Heat could be much better letting Bosh Walk than Signing Gasol, Ariza or Deng,McRoberts..

With Lebron and Melo Lebron would have to permanently move to PF and the Only way that works is if they had a Legit Center who can Rebound and Protect Middle. Scenerio One with Bosh Leaving

Scenerio 3 with LEbron staying would somehow get Gasol to come to Heat with Big 3. Than sign some other Vets on the Cheap to fill out Bench. Maybe get Allen to Return along with BIrdman and Add a vet like Nelson to mentor Young PG's.

I would love to see Melo + LeBron for shits and giggles. Those two are a worse fit than LeBron and Wade :oldlol:

Bosh is a free agent. If they didn't want him, they just wouldn't sign him. It's a made up story. Miami wants to keep Bosh.

Stephen A Smith was the first one that had a James to Miami when everyone had him in Chicago.

Bran will probably go back to Cleveland cause they have a team to carry him now..
Bosh is an idiot he should be in Houston for the max already:lol

I think they'd be a good fit if melo was willing to be a spot up shooter for most of his points.

Stephen A is actually almost always on point with this stuff as he's more piped in than even Windhorst at times about the Heat.

This actually makes sense. Lebron could have told Bosh/Wade he is undecided, but he doesn't want them to do anything they don't want to do. If they want to sign with Miami at max contracts...great. If they want to go elsewhere great.

Lebron could have just told them it's all business/winning for him and that he'll make his decision once he sees how teams shake out around the league after the first week of free agency.

Actually a smart strategy by Lebron if he really is totally fine with leaving Miami. If, however, Lebron really wants to stay in Miami. This strategy is terrible. Well...it's terrible assuming he and bosh and wade were willing to take paycuts. If they never were...then he knows deep down he's leaving anyway and this way he doesn't look like the bad guy like he did in 2010.

This shit is amazing. I did not see this coming.

Stephen A was also one of the first on the moves that sent Doc (and almost KG and Pierce) to the Clips.
