It's fun for conversations sake, but it's not happening.

Melo still isn't going West PERIOD, and he sure as hell isn't going into the meat grinder w/ Kobe who's old and 1 injury away from hanging em up for good.

Pau isn't even staying necessarily, and if he does we know he's still a good player but Father Time is a factor with him as well.

Randle is a player I really like a lot. Think he will amount to something pretty good in the league. He's just a rookie though. He's not gonna step in day 1 and dominate. It will take time he's young so it's all good.

Besides that Nash is a corpse and they don't have a coach.

I actually think they'd miss the playoffs. That's how good the west is.

New York or Chicago.

This thread isn't even about Melo going to LA, its just you making your 1000th post clinging to the hope that Melo chooses Chicago.

I have hardly said shit about it besides one thread. And I have commented on here barely at all the last 4 days.

Are you too sensitive to talk about it? I don't see why you're crying over there.

I was saying it because of he's not gonna go West. Especially not with a Lakers team that has no chance to win in 2015. And who knows what happens next summer for them.

If he wants to do that he can take the super max in NYC and hope Phil makes moves while he maintains the image of a guy trying to bring NYK a chip for the first time in forever.

The competition is so great in the west the Lakers would still struggle to make the playoffs.

It's not happening.

I think he is going to the Knicks.

The NY posts Marc Berman has an article released today the 7th about a S&T scenario with Melo using Lakers as leverage.

"The Lakers have maximum cap space and have a four-year, $96 million offer on the table. One worst-case theory speculates Anthony is using the possibility of signing with the Lakers to force Jackson into a sign-and-trade with the Bulls, who don

I'll be waiting.

Chicago papers called out national media reports. Rose damn well knew he was gonna be there. Rose has wanted Melo since the Denver / NYK trade.

Why are you laughing? Let's hear your prediction.

Wait are you serious? You are gullible enough to think that would happen?

You love "sources" don't you?

The East is for the taking. Bron and Melo both end up back east.

C'mon guys, you're better than this.

Knicks aren't open to s and t. If he wants to rot in LA so be it. I'll even root for him. But to facilitate him to the Bulls who he won't go to otherwise? No thank you.

A couple first rounders, maybe Mirotic, and 4 million in waivable contracts would be accepted by Phil.

Stop acting like they wouldn't take it if Melo was leaving for nothing.

Ang again, Marc Berman brought it up at the NY Post, so there's that.

I love how we are all guessing and saying it's a fact.

I got Melo to the Bucks.

He would go to LA before Chi. It would satisfy all his needs except the team situation.

NEVER going to happen... No matter how many times you post this joke of an offer no one is falling for this trash (I dont care who you think cosigned that crap would never happen) I'd stake cash on this if Melo did chose Chi which isnt happening.

He will not be S&T to the East. The chances of it happening would be the West and then I'd doubt it.

Melo isn't going to Chicago.

I mean, why would he go to a team that will be featuring Kirk Hinrich as its point guard due to Rose missing another season because of a floor burn?
