Have to give him that much to get him. How the market works. Very few players in the NBA make about what they should be making. Most are over or underpaid relative to their true value as a player.

He's a MUCH better fit for that team than Melo.

Bosh should take it.

He will ****ing thrive on Houston and that makes them as good as anyone in the West not named the Spurs. And they are a ****ing horrible matchup for the Spurs as well.

**** me. If this happens... the West...I just can't even comprehend...

If Derrick Rose doesn't come back strong for the Bulls, the Eastern conference is basically ****ed for the next 2-3 years.

If I'm Bosh I'd probably take that anyway. Harden is a ball hog, but I think his game actually fits pretty well with a legit big center like Dwight.

Can they keep Parsons as well?

You've got two rings. No one gives you any credit for those rings, then someone offers you a max deal. What you do?

Play for food stamps at your current club where you won't get any credit anyway, or get payed somewhere else? I think the answer should be clear.

Depends on if Alexander is willing to go over the cap. Because the only way we can get him without doing that is a $8 million dollar deal. Other teams like Dallas and LA can easily offer him around $12 million. We'll see.

tmacattack33

I hope he takes it/

Dwight-Bosh-Harden would be cool to see.

And if he's gone, then Lebron's going to Cleveland. Watching Lebron dominate as usual while watching Kyrie and Wiggins develop would be amazing.

I'm not sure about any of you, but this year's regular season was pretty dull for me. The regular season only gets good when you get to watch a new team develop and try to gel.

22 million a year to go home and be on a loaded team in the perfect role is a lot to pass up.

The general consensus among rockets fans (some of which I know play pick up ball with Parsons) is that there is a *wink wink* offer to Parsons. Parsons doesn't have to sign any offer sheet, but the agreement is that once Houston signs their 3rd star, parsons will then have an offer from Houston that suits him. I said all along during the trade rumors that parsons was untouchable, and that there was zero chance he was going to be moved

Dallas would have to offer something stupid like 15m per to get him and even then, parsons would probably take the likely 12 he'll get from Houston.

I don't want Hayward at his price. I like Parsons though a lot for the Mavs...he fits in really well and while in a vacuum he might be a little over-rated...for us in between Ellis and Dirk he could thrive.

Ariza remains the most likely fit there and I'm not thrilled about it if it's over 8 million a year.

Ariza would be a nice snag too.

Its just that if DM wasn't absolutely 100% positive that they could keep Chandler this season, they would have just accepted his 4th year option and kept him on for 1.1m.

From from what I am hearing, there is no scenario where Parsons isnt with the Rockets next season, and he has mentioned to my brother that he intends to spend his career in Houston.

I understand situations change but, he and the Rockets FO have a good understanding and they are working it to where they both win.

Anybody can go after Parsons, but they won't get him.

And yes, there is a trade on standby when Bosh gives the word, Lin is gone.
