As a Knicks fan I am appalled that Pippen is joining the ranks. Did not want. Let him consult in Chicago.
What's next? Jojo English and Toni Kukoc?

1993 ECF.
So what is the best Pippen vs. the Knicks moment?
*The triple double in Game 7 of the 92' ECSF.
*The dagger 3 in Game 6 of the 93' ECF.
*Stuffing Charles Smith twice at the end of Game 5 in the 93' ECF.
*Posterizing Patrick Ewing for all time in the 94' ECSF.
All that said, it would be weird to see him and Jackson as Knicks...

My favorite Pippen moment was him benching himself at the end of a playoff game because Phil didn't design a play for him.
And then Kukoc hits the game winner leaving Pippen with egg on his face

Why not? By all accounts he was a great locker room and on the court leader, a great basketball mind and one of the most unselfish superstars in history. Even Kukoc praised Pippen as a teammate later. Yet let's ignore that and define a lengthy career by one moment? As we know, none of us have ever made a mistake!

That shit was unforgivable.
It would've been 100x worse had Kukoc missed that shot. But Toni was clutch as hell that whole season. Didn't he have like 4 buzzer beaters not counting that one?

I'm not gonna win this. Knicks got owned by the Bulls every year. Even when they didn't have MJ they had to go 7 to beat them (Hubert Davis WAS fouled). But I just don't want to see players I've hated so much as a kid being on the Knicks sidelines just because they are in need of paychecks. I am ok with Laker players coming, but I don't want Bulls guys :(

Pippen ain't coming. He's a malcontent; always was. He would undermine any cohesion Fish would assemble. He'll be waiting around the phone with Rick Fox til Christmas.

Dude is a punk.
By the way, it wasn't a mistake. It was just a bitch move. He makes no apologies for what he did in that game. Said he'd do it again.

That was no foul :oldlol: There was minimal contact at best and the shot was long gone. Everyone and their mother knew it was a bullshit call to save the Knicks back then.

What the ****??? Wasn't he just pitching the Bulls to him?

Look at what his teammates, coaches have to say about him. They are universal in his praise, especially regarding him as a team player.
It was a bad move and indefensible but does not define a 17 year career.

Exactly. What a shame too. That bogus call likely cost the Bulls a fourth consecutive Finals appearance and perhaps a fourth title as well.

The timing is odd but Jackson has wanted Pippen to join his staff for years.
But I just don't want to see players I've hated so much as a kid being on the Knicks sidelines just because they are in need of paychecks.
That is understandable. It will be odd for me to see Pip and PJ as Knicks too! :lol
