Granger is gonna be bench player and McBob is a pretty good passing big. I don't see why people are acting like these are shitty signings. If the "big 3" opt in, this is definitely a better roster than the one Miami had last year.

Shitty signing. Even Wade is healthier than Granger. 28% FG in the playoffs, dude really showed up.

At this point, Grannger doesn't deserve anything above the minimum. Using the BAE on him is a waste

this is why the thunder scare me they are much younger but they are just much longer and athletic and better defensively we are too old
for example chuckbrook could lock up napier, wade, with ease but who the hell is going to guard him?
lebron usually doesn't like to spend all game defending their best player so who checks durant when lebron doesnt?
mcroberts on ibaka?

ehh...thunder have to get past the Spurs first, and possibly Houston if they land Bosh. dunno how likely they are to making the Finals again...that Pau pick-up is key to it tho

I just chose the thunder because they are favorites... spurs will do the same thing and abuse our defense as is....
and if either team get Gasol...

Westbrick is a damn good defender. I've said this a number of times, but I've never seen him play lockdown D. He gambles a LOT.

Granger was pretty bad last season, especially in the playoffs.
McRoberts is a decent signing. He'll give you threes and he's a nice passer but he won't grab a lot of rebounds. He only averaged about 5 in 30 minutes last year.

The good news in these signings for the Heat even if you think they're shitty or not is that Riley is operating as if the team is capped and bringing back all three players, but also means that none of the Big 3 plan to take significantly less money either.

eh to me he looked great in the playoffs last year reminded m e of gary payton some the spurs were even forced to bench parker
i am just saying i am worried that chalmers or napier will be a huge hole for us and its not like mcroberts or bosh will scare people once they get int he paint
and lebron has been used up way too much to be a threat on D should we make ANOTHER FINALS run. we ideal want lebron to play someone less serious on d so he can shoulder offense load
I just dont see it we need more defenese

If they let Bosh go, could they conceivably get Melo and one of Gasol/Okafor? That might be enough to get LeBron to stay.

Yeah, you want a 20/5/5 on 54% player to come of the bench? ****ing retard.
Lin sucks ass, BTW. Dude is a glorified Chalmers at best.

That's why I say they'd need to bring in someone like Okafor.
With a rim protector it makes sense.
Melo last season:
27 ppg, 8 rpg, 3 apg, 40% 3P shooting, 1.2 spg, 0.7 bpg, 24 PER, 11 win shares.
Chris Bosh last season, exact same age:
16 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1 apg, 34% 3P shooting, 1 spg, 1 bpg, 19 PER, 8 win shares.
Melo is worse defensively (resulting in a slightly worse plus/minus as of now), but better offensively, especially shooting from deep which is exactly what you want from a teammate of LeBron's. In the Miami context it should work.

Green is a much better player than current Granger. A classic 3&D type. I haven't seen Granger play defense in years.

McRoberts is a FANTASTIC signing. Anybody who watched the Bobcats last year should tell you that. Championship teams need good role-players, and McRoberts is a good one.
Granger is also a good signing. To get him for only 2 mil is a bargain. Could very well be a player who can make a Rashard Lewis impact. Don't count him out.
Do any Heat fans have any clue what James Ennis will be doing this season? Would love to see him on the team, I really like him and think he can ball.

I would be surprised if Ennis isn't on the team and getting some minutes this season. They seem to really like him.

it is worth it...but what does this mean for Beasley being resigned? Beasley played pretty decently throughout the RS and unwarranted as to why Spo didn't use more of him in the playoffs.
