My father was actually Wes Matthew's math teacher in High School. I actually grew up a Celtic fan, but with a weird affinity for the Laker's backup PG, who I had re-inforced in my head for years was one of the top 5 PGs in basketball, but just happened to be playing behind the best of all time. I met Wes a few times as a kid at basketball camps at his old High School.

Same High School that went on to produce John Bagley, and later Charles Smith.
