Read that in the 2-oh "gigabit squared" is prepping for it.

I'll get it the first day it's available in my hood and tell y'all how it is.

I don't get what's all that necessary for.. By all means go ahead and have it but to me that's just extreme..

i have Comcast and i pay like $60-$80~ i think and recently they even said they doubled the speed for free but i didn't notice it. Comcast hangs sometimes, and sometimes just randomly goes out altogether. Its gotten better from a long time ago(used to be where when a lot of people were on it'd slow down a lot) but it still has issues sometimes. my streams sometimes are slow too. most of the time its fine but i wouldn't mind insta second load on everything....

i feel like its all political too. basically Comcast paid some politicians or cities off to monopolize their lines or something where they won't let Google in....something shady has to be going on with this. Comcast and those big cable companies feel like such monopolies.

I have a question about speed. I have fios and I believe I have 15/5. If I upgrade or they give us more speed whether for free or paying, do I have to get a new router or its automatically giving me new speeds?

pretty sure you don't need a new router.

i think when they say they're giving you upgraded speed for free its some gimmick. I had Comcast say that to me and i didn't notice a difference.

And at work i have a internet called Clear, think its satellite, and they said the same BS after i was about to cancel, and cut the price in half, and i didn't notice a speed difference.

It's not even worth it for casual users.
