Seriously though...
Why not collude and go to a town with a drought and a rich sports history? One that will elevate your legacy?
I get Miami has hot chicks and beaches and all, but damn man, there's more to life. Plus, I thought Lebron and Bosh were married and faithful.

I know there was a few heat fans on ISH after the Decision saying the Cavs fans on here should be grateful for the years Lebron spent with them and that they are the bitter ex-girlfriend...
Funny what comes around goes around :lol

Burn the jersey of the man that made the franchise relevant again

This would require actual passion for their team, something Heat fans sorely lack.

Meanwhile in Staples Center you can hear a pin drop and everyone is texting on their phones when the Lakers are playing.
Oh and Jack's going to Clippers playoff games now. :wtf:
What a bizarro world we live in.

Most of the fans at the games won't even notice. If he leaves we will still see "fans" at miami games wearing Lebron jerseys like it's no big deal. They have a lot of real fans but being miami they also have a lot of people at their games who are tourists just seeing the sights or hanging out.

No way.
As others have pointed out, Miami B-ball fans in general don't seem nearly as passionate as Cleveland sports fans.
He brought them two titles.
It isn't his home-town who drafted him, and had been given unfulfilled "promises" before he left us the way he did (making a spectacle of it).

My thoughts exactly. Miami fans have way too many options in that area, to be worried about a player leaving or staying. LeBron is great. But Miami folks are like West Coast fans, laid back and have a life.

Did we burn Shaq's jersey? Stfu and get over it. He got two rings and 4 finals with Miami. Ain't gonna win shit with Cleveland anyway so it doesn't bother us.

I don't even have a LeBron jersey, but even if I did I wouldn't burn it. He won us two rings, and owed us nothing prior to coming here.
On the other hand, I can understand why Cavs fans felt betrayed. LeBron made it his goal to bring a championship to Cleveland, and he didn't deliver. On top of that, he told them on national TV, and pretty much quit during the Boston series.
LeBron balled out in a losing attempt against the Spurs, and gave Miami success. If he's gone, then all rational heat fans would wish him well. I'd personally hope he goes on and wins a ring every year with the Cavs unless he comes across the Heat, which would be unlikely since we'd lose Bosh and go into rebuilding mode for the next 2 years.

For the people saying we are not passionate, BS. But we're not going to do to the same as Cav fans because he's not from here and he fulfilled his promise here of bringing us titles. We would be grateful more than upset.

Exactly. It was a great, exciting run. I'm definitely not mad at it. I got to do a lot of shit talkin and actually have it backed up unlike the damn dolphins who can't even make a playoff.

They got 2 rings from a player they didn't draft neither was he the local hero so they should just be grateful for his stint.

The answer is yes, in spite of the fairweather climate of their "who cares about sports" town, somepeople probably burned their jerseys just to have something to tweet about.

I think that's part of basketball culture now sadly. People do it for something to post about on social media.
