Not sure if I am happy about this, but hey Kobe was once in Adidas's camp and switched over to Nike, maybe Wiggins will too, or maybe Adidas will finally get their shit together and come up with something dope.

You do.
Other than the thread I'm in (because I can see the title) I'm betting I couldn't guess a single player's shoe affinity.

got no clue what I'm talking about here
but I think he should refrain from signature shoes
but more supporting the brand brand awareness as well as its product for the mass market.

Good, Nike has a monopoly:
Adidas has a long way to go to catch up to Nike, which owns an astounding 95 percent of the basketball shoe market share (Jordan: 58 percent; Nike: 37 percent) in the United States, according to market retail tracking firm SportsOneSource. Adidas has a 3 percent share.

Isn't Reebok owned by adidas anyway?

hahahahahahha
Ronaldo is the most paid athlete by clothes companies (Nike) and they only pay him 9 millions € a year.

LeBron's deal is 10+. I think Durant and Kobe are close to 10 as well
Lebron gets around 15 million $ a years from Nike but that's not a salary, that includes royalties.
Either way, million up million down my point still stands, Adidas did not offer 200 to Wiggins, unless we're talking about a 35 year deal or something, which is still impossible since athlete active years are less than that and shoe companies don't take these gambles.
Isn't Reebok owned by adidas anyway?
yep.

200 million but not in 1 year :hammerhead:
You'd do well emulating that smiley in real life. Maybe helps you start geting a garsp on reality.
care to tell me how many millions a year would 200 be? Will Wiggins still get paid by Adidas when he's 40? Do Adidas dish out this kind of money to rookies ignoring possible future hinderances such as injuries or not living up to expectations?
They gonna be paying him what? 20 millions a year? 5 times as much as they pay Messi?
Adida's ain't run by ISH joes I'm afraid, so your arguments stay in ISH, they don't translate to the real world.

Good, Nike has a monopoly:
Adidas is just as popular in other countries.
And Jordan brand is mostly non-existent in most countries

things like these are what causes injury, you need padding cushioning, not returning inertia to your legs that causes more torque. adidas suck.

I've got a pair of the running shoes. They're pretty awesome.
