Better NBA state, California or Texas?

NBA state, NOT basketball state(levels the playing field for texas a bit)

asked this question a few years ago after Dallas won but back then it was Cali by a mile. Since then two finals appearances and a chip for the state are they catching up?

If you wanna go to Cali, just fly there with the extra 12m you save by not paying absurd taxes. You could probably fly there and back every day if you wanted with the money that YOU get to KEEP.

live in Texas and you can afford to fly to Cali every weekend if you want, and still own a big house. Stay in Cali and you are still living with your parents and hang out with statutory.

Having lived in both, your money will definitely go a lot further in Texas than in California. The people in Texas are generally a lot friendlier too. If you can't live without a California feel and vibe, move to Austin, its basically become California East anyways. Beyond that, if I was going to cash in on a huge pay, I'd rather get it in Texas and then use the extra cash I'm not spending on absurdly high taxes to go buy properties in other places too.


Personally I'd go to Washington state which has no state income tax as well, a lot more scenic but in this situation, it doesn't apply since they let their NBA team walk out the door.

Yep. A lot of the U-Haul trucks leaving Cali head to Texas - just like Toyota. Better for business, more freedom, don't have to get special emissions stuff for your car, cheap housing.

Who wants to deal with earthquakes, mudslides, wildfires? If you want scenic California, take a vacation with all the money you save on taxes.

Of course, Texas now has all these children crossing the border illegally but that's hardly the state's fault - more like Obama giving them the green light and having buses lined up waiting to take the kids elsewhere.
