:biggums: Still find it pretty weird how Godbe was able to put together a GOAT calibre finals series the way he did. Put forth a better performance than most players in NBA history ever could including LeBald/Jordan... as a "SIDEKICK" :lol

GOAT gonna GOAT:applause: :applause: :applause:

LeBron's 2014 Finals was better than this. If he had prime Shaq putting up 36 & 12 a game he would have probably won a ring this year

It took lebron 10yrs but thats cool. Kobe wasnt given the green light, he was drafted 13 overall.

And you could say the same about any star. What if Kobe replaced Jordan on those bulls teams, surrounded by Pippen and Rodman?

they would actually.

and what makes u think lebron in his 3rd year would win with shaq? Shaq would do most of the heavy lifting and it wouldnt be as comparable to Shaq-Kobe ratio either

Hmm, I wouldn't too sure about that kind sir! Keep in mind that Dennis Rodman is one of the all-time great rebounders. He once averaged over 18 boards a game! With Kobe on the team, I could easily see Rodman picking up 10+ more boards a game through the eponymous "Kobe assist" (To recap for the layman, this is where Kobe hoists up a three with the hand in the face, expecting a "miss" for his teammates to recover, thus boosting their market value through better stats and also increasing team morale == more wins).

With the combo of Kobe averaging 25 points on a respectable 30 shots, and Dennis grabbing 25-30 boards, this team would be formidable indeed. Oh, and of course Scottie Pippen would do his part standing in the corner and hoisting the occasional jumper, aka the "Steve Nash" role in the Kobe system.

Nets...

1st in DRTG with prime Kidd guarding Kobe

dropped 36 on them with only 23 shots (clutch game as well)

People act like the series was lopsided...there was only one blowout in LA and the rest were decided within 1-2 possessions.

2002 was not Kobe's third year, so I'm not sure what you mean by that

He's talking about 99-00, which is actually his 4th season.

 OP completely ignoring this.

I could probably average 10 points the way Shaq single handedly destroy the other team.:oldlol:

he learned what he wanted to do as he entered into the league at quite the young age.

I don't know why did you quote my post, because none of what you said had anything to do with my post.

I said with Shaq demanding more than half the other team's attention, anyone can have a field day, which Kobe did on his free ride to a 3peat:confusedshrug:

As to people pointing to the competition, well:

-The Nets did make back to back finals
-They were number 1 seed
-They did have prime Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Kerry Kittles, Keith Van Horn -
-They did hold teams to only 92ppg and have the best Def Rtg in the league.

Kobe haters always with the double speak. So which is it? Is Kobe a chucker taking bad shots all game is is Kobe getting wide open looks because of Shaq?
