I can't think of anybody who shoots the 3 ball better.

Stephen Curry? Shot 42.4% to Green's 41.5% on much higher volume and much more defensive pressure.

Steph Curry deserves to be in GOAT 3 point shooter discussions...He's that good

Doubt it. But he heats up about as fast as anyone, except possibly Steph. Don't see him miss an open shot very often, either.
Steph is probably the best shooter I have ever seen tho. Not hyperbole.

Anthony Morrow.
Don Nelson actually said that Anthony Morrow was the best shooter he had EVER coached and yes I believe this was after/during Curry's rookie year...

Steph Curry is consistent 3-5 feet beyond the line off the dribble.

Curry.
Danny is one of the best 3-and-D players.

Gonna have to go with Jose Calderon who shot 53% from 3 during the 12-13 season.
Honestly Danny shouldn't even be in this conversation, he is a very good 3pt shooter but there are definitely better shooters.

Green and Curry are the two most feared 3-pt shooters. They can heat up quickly.

Curry, Danny and Kyle Korver.

Spurs players are becoming more and more overrated.

curry and korver. Curry is EASILY the best 3 point shooter in the game. He hit more 3s than ray allen at a higher percentage, and while taking a large number of them off the bounce, or 5 ****ing feet from behind the line. I have never in my life seen a burner like the one curry has. Even korver who has a sweet ass stroke (pause) cant shoot like steph.

Green is one of the best open shooters I've seen. Him and Korver are on another level when it comes to that. I'm sure Curry would be a level above if he could get open.
Seeing Green open in the finals was one of the most annoying things that could happen.

Best clutch 3 point shooter.
People forget those 2-3 massive shots he made in Game 1.

Honestly Greens defense is more valuable than his shooting

Didn't spurs have like 8 players that shot over 40% from 3 this year?
There isn't a goat 3 point candidate on this spurs team.. But collectively they should be in discussion as one of the greatest 3 point shooting team of all time..heck in the playoffs they averages something like 48% from 3 point land as a team.. That's unreal

No.
I'd say Korver, Curry, Novak, Thompson, and maybe Calderon, Morrow, Allen(despite numbers last season), and Miller are better. I'd put him a hair above guys like Belinelli, Mills, James Jones, Redick, Ryan Anderson, etc.
His defense is probably more important to the Spurs than his 3pt shooting - players like Bellinelli and Bonner can hit 3pters and can't play defense. The combination of Green and Leonard on the perimeter has lifted SA's defense. If only he'd stop going for pump-fakes (Allen and Wade).

Agree with the other people in this thread, it has to be Steph. That dude is the best shooter I've ever seen.
Steph Curry is consistent 3-5 feet beyond the line off the dribble.
This...Green is a spot up shooter, pretty much and pulls up every once in a while.....Steph is on another level in terms of shooting off the dribble, off of anything really, hell...lol
