opted out. i think he wanted to re-sign with POR, though. dont think it will happen at this point. he'll probably take the min with DAL

Yeah I think Portland has 15 players now
Lillard - Blake
Matthews - Barton/McCollum
Batum - Wright
LMA - Robinson
Lopez - Kaman?
Better than last year?

Worse than Mo. Plus he can't stay on the court.

This, Im baffled why Mo was not brought back. Blake is ok but Mo is clearly better and I cant imagine his contract demands were exorbitant. They gave Chris Kaman 5mil/yr for god sake.

to do what?
the trail blazers doesn't even have a player he can throw an alley oop with

Blake is an EXCELLENT pick and roll/pop guy. i dont know how many minutes he'll see next to aldridge, but the two of them will definitely have a connection.
he'll probably get some good burn with with kaman though, who is also an excellent "pop" guy. and hes a much more tenacious defender that mo ever was. definitely a better pick up than re-signing him.

Woj is actually doing his job and reporting on things other than Lebron.

Awesome pick up, Blazers fans  .
Blake last year played through an elbow injury that hindered him and he still managed to shoot, pass and rebound. This guy is a battle tested warrior who doesn't at all play like his age would suggest. Blake can thrive with guys who can shoot and running the pick and roll/pop as already mentioned. After carrying the Laker load the past couple of years when Kobe's been down and getting only slight playing time at Golden State, Blake deserves a good back up role here.

Maybe that 3-point percentage was enticing.
Alley oop? Dude will be running with T-Rob and Barton on the bench.
