View Full Version : Where would LeBron signing make you respect him the most?

Apparently, leaving the Heat to join the Cavs, a team that's missed the playoffs 4 years in a row in the east is "ring chasing", yet if he resigns with Miami he's going back to a "stacked" team. So ISH, you tell me, what team would LeBron have to sign with to have your seal of approval or respect?

Cavs or Miami to not get bashed most likely. He already left a losing team to join superstars. If he went to Rockets or Clippers i would of been pretty pissed and called him a ring chaser. The fact he wants max i think its different this time around. I honeslty think hes only doing that to make himself look better and not look like a ring chaser. Alot of people are going to call him a pvssy even if he leaves because they lost in the finals last year and he knows Miami isnt gonna be the same.

anyone that says it's ring chasing to return to a team thats missed the playoffs every season since Lebron's been gone is a bona fide retard.

I'm pretty sure everyone wants him to go back to Cle because f*ck Miami, and the Big 3 would be dismantled, which would be good for the NBA.

besides, the only ones that would still be hating on Lebron if he went back to Cleveland would be Kobetards, and its not like anyone takes their opinions seriously.

Knicks.

would show that he's willing to live under immense pressure and scrutiny.

He goes back to cleveland, he can't do wrong (he tried and the people of cleveland would love him). he stays in miami he can't do wrong ( he stuck it out). In New York he could fail horribly, which makes it the biggest risk.

The answer that you get from those people that have a problem with Lebron will be disingenuous.

The truth is no matter what he does or where he goes, those same people will align themselves to a position where they can oppose him. Some people just have to have a villian they can hate/despise. They would not give up so easily.

whatever team gives him the least chance of winning a ring so when he loses they can be like "lebron can't do it without 3 other superstars like d.wade, bosh and ray allen"

both miami and cleveland are far lower pressure than New York. even the Lakers are.

If he went to the Knicks, on the same team as melo, if they failed to bring the Knicks a title, the media would come down incredibly hard on him.

the number one athlete in the number one market would bring expectations and pressure unlike what he's seen.

doesn't matter where he goes or where he is, he's the most scrutinized athlete of all time you dummy :facepalm

you think carmelo is getting scrutinized as much as lebron these days? even after he's a b2b fmvp?

I would like to see Lebron troll the mess out of everyone by waiting to the last minute to announce where he's going. Then I would want him to do another 1 hour special, this time on ABC instead of ESPN. Finally I would like to see his trolling reach epic proportions by signing with a truly "stacked" team that is already a contender such as the Clippers, Thunder, or even the Pacers.

I'd like to see LeBron sign with the Spurs.

It would finally get casual fans to start hating the Spurs for once.

he's not the most scrutinized athlete of all time. We just live in an era of instant reaction / scrutiny. Jackie Robinson, Muhammed Ali, far more scrutinized in their time and that's without 24/7 access to anything.

LeBron's not some poor victim and you are a freaking idiot if you think he would not face more pressure playing in New York.

San Antonio Spurs. Why? From 20 Second Timeout:

If winning championships is James' top priority right now, then he will contact the San Antonio Spurs and work out a deal with them. James already has made hundreds of millions of dollars, so if he wants to win three or four more titles then why not give up a few million dollars in salary to join forces with the league's reigning champion/model franchise? Yes, James will have a good chance to win a championship wherever he goes because he is the league's best player but his best chance to win in the remaining years of his prime is to work with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and Gregg Popovich.

Miami. Why leave when the tough gets going? If he leaves for Cleveland he's pretty much jumping ship after 4 consecutive trips to the finals. Just making him a ring chaser more than ever. If he's truly a captain he would go down with his ship.

As long as lebron takes the max money possible I will be happy and a fan of his.

My problem is GOAT level players in their prime taking less money so they can get help.

Pat Riley: Stay 'if you've got the guts'
And the Heat president delivered a strongly worded message for Heat superstar LeBron James in the wake of the team's NBA Finals loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

"This stuff is hard. And you got to stay together, if you've got the guts. And you don't find the first door and run out of it,"

It doesn't matter at this point. The damage is done and he looks like a douche, as always. Going to the Cavs is kinda bullshit because now instead of seeing how the #1 pick in the draft performs we get to see Lebron steal all the attention from him.

I'd respect him if he went to the Suns. Out west, primarily.

Staying in the east is a cakewalk to the finals.

IDK, he seems to have ruined his legacy, anyway.

Miami

buut since everybody agrees West is the tougher conference and the Southwest is the toughest division with 5 Playoff Teams then

That leaves one of the 5
Dal--cant do that bc well Dal beat him so will look bad
SA-same thing an well Best rec in League
OKC--Biggest Rival KD,along with WB and beating OKC in Finals
Hou---Another Superteam so still get no respect
MeM

So
LeBron In MEMPHIS
It even works.

With the conference, division and division history and LeBron history with it
and Mem is the Land of the King so BOOM

MEMPHIS it is.
