Not sure about this.

Cleveland is definitely a top 3 East team now but not quite the "lock for the Finals" that Miami was all those years. At least I don't get that feeling from them yet. Irving is really good but I don't think they should be overwhelming faves in the East right now.

Well, they're probably going to the Finals by default, and from there anything can happen, so... haha.

Especially if the Pacers trade Hibbert and lose Stephenson.

It would take a healthy Rose's return for any team to challenge them out East.

Yeah the East is easy for the new look Cavs right now. I mean who's gonna block their way to the Finals? I can think only the Pacers.

They won't win in the finals. Current Spurs would beat them and their still making moves. Houston would. OKC would...

Lebron eats Pacers for breakfast.

Apparently Vegas has given them 3-to-1 odds (best in the NBA) to win the championship next year, but I agree with you.

Depends about the moves they make. If they possibly deal Wiggins for Love then the Cavs are probably the best team in the East..

Barring major injuries, not winning >2 chips will be an absolute failure.

How the hell is Cleveland a favorite over the Spurs or even the Thunder, Rockets, and Clippers? :biggums: :coleman:

Vegas odds are based on what they think people will bet on. Not who actually looks like the favourite based on talent/fit/coaching/etc. There will be A LOT of Cleveland bets coming in right now.

Obviously the Spurs are favorites to repeat but with Duncan's advanced age you can never be sure. Thunder well they are not a very organized team and they have an average coach. Clippers, Rockets and the rest aren't better than the Spurs and Thunder. But we'll see what moves they can do to strengthen.

Cavs already have the advantage of having the best player, a young roster, and of course an easy route to the Finals. :lol

Ok that makes more sense. Cleveland has a chance to contend because of the shitty Eastern conference but the West still has much better teams.
