I'll be the first to say it, I'm no longer a Lebron James hater. I'm glad he decided to go back home. I think this is one of the better decisions he's made throughout his career. :applause:

I may even become a fan.

i don't get your rationale.

you act like he did something noble. Miami was on the decline, lost to SA, and their support outside of the big 3 stinks.

meanwhile the Cav's have had like 4 straight #1 draft picks. they just got the best player in the draft. their future is bright with nowhere to go but up.

so lebron comes back.

what exactly are you praising him for? he just pulled a Decision 2 as well....and when you remember the Cav's organization reaction with fans after Decision1 it is hard to respect that organization at all right now, especially their owner.

:wtf:

I hated the Heat and Wade. I have no problem with James. Hopefully he'll deliver a ring to Cleveland.

this... he basically jumped to the best team again. if cleveland didn't get the #1 this year it would be a different story. I don't hate Lebron either, but that's the truth.

I no longer hate him as well. His past 2 rings still doesn't mean crap however.

I appreciated what he did in Cleveland. And enjoyed watching him put that team on his back and go as far as he could.

I was sickened by the abomination that was the collusion deal they did in Miami. It was impossible to root for him in that situation. Made me sick. What a shame. One of the best players to come through the league in a long time and I can't stand the team he is on and the collusion it took to make it happen and the smugness of thinking they were gonna pwn the whole league.

I wouldn't say I will be a fan of his now that he is back in Cleveland, but I will certainly be able to appreciate him now.

I don't care about all that stuff about how Miami was on the decline and how Cleveland is on the way up. I'm just happy that he went back to the Cleveland Cavaliers and for some reason that makes me not Hate (dislike) him anymore. :confusedshrug:

He jumped to the 8th worst team in the NBA and it is now the odds on favorite to win the title. Just stop and think about that.

The Cavs won 33 game in the fukcing goddamn worst conference ever  They add a 19 year old and now they're the best team??? Now if they get another big piece, fine they'd probably become stacked. But this team isn't the best nor will they win next season (even bran basically implied this in his letter)

So what? He wouldn't have done this if they didn't get Wiggins. It isn't loyalty it's just business.

Wtf is this nonsense?!?! Weakest "pre-bandwagon" post I've seen yet.

You will be crying when Bron, Kyrie, and Wiggins shit on Westbrook and Durant.

Hold your ground and stop embarrassing thunder fans. :facepalm

I meant best team as in better team. Cleveland is a better situation for the future than Miami is. It isn't about him being noble it's just about what's going to win basketball games for him. That's fine with me. I don't really care.

I dont hate lebron, I hate the heat and hated the way he left clevland, so I never respected him on the heat. No that he left the heat, and went back to the cavs with a better mindstate. The whole show and party he had when he first went to miami really got me and lost tons of respect for him.

This is what I hate.

He let his good friend from childhood run and make a TV show and make him (then CHILDREN IN THE SPURNED CITIES) $5-10MM. And you hate him for it.

He hires a PR team that leverages ESPN/SI/EVERYONE to say nice things about him and now you love him.

It pisses me off how easily the masses are manipulated. Its the reason I have to sit through 18 min of commercials to watch an hour TV show.

I still hate him.

He joined a superteam at his peak.

And he is still enjoy the advantages of a pathetic conference.

And he will get a big 3 again (Lebron/Love/Irwing)

Love this move.

But that Cavs roster is stacked as ****. Kyrie, Waiters, Wiggins, Thompson, Karasev, Dellavedova, Bennett..they have a ton of great young talent. Kyrie-Waiters-Wiggins alone would be a terrific core going forward for any team.

Lebron's career from here on out is perfectly set up. This isn't a Spurs situation where his best teammates age with him..whenever he ages, his teammates get closer and closer to their prime. When he's on his last legs as a player, his teammates will be entering their peaks. I understand how people respect his decision, as I do myself, but let's not act like he's going to a shit roster out of the goodness of his heart.

The truth of the matter is that in the eye of pop culture, he is now liked again.

So everyone's opinion will shift in that direction now, because most people are sheep.

Many people hated on Lebron after Decision 1 who hardly ever even watched basketball or knew what was going on. It was just the water cooler talk to hate on Lebron, so everyone did it.

Now, it will be water cooler talk to talk about Lebron coming home in a positive light.

Cleveland's the best team?:biggums:

No matter what team he goes to, they'll either be in a better situation currently, or in the future than Miami is. That's a cop out, just say you don't like the dude.

The better team. CLE is a better situation than Miami right now and longterm.

This guy has you all duped with this crap. He is doing this because the Cavs present the perfect opportunity for him to win championships as he ages. He left Miami's aging roster for good reasons, and it's definitely not because he now feels a sense of responsibility to his home town.

This is business for LeBron and the dominoes fell in place for him. Not a difficult decision whatsoever.

What's the problem? Is it because you don't want to see him winning? I guess LeBron should spend the rest of his career playing for the ****ing Bobcats then.

Not a hater, but not a fan. Won two rings as the clear-cut best player, we'll see if he can add to that legacy and win one for a franchise that's never won before.

No. I don't blame him for leaving. but your comparison is ****ing retarded. Miami has been to the finals 4 years in a row and have won 2 rings.

The Bobcats actually did better than Cleveland last year.

So what you are saying is not an exeggeration.

I once predicted that he would go to the Heat before he made his announcement. Then back tracked those thoughts once free agency started as he was exploring his options, because I thought had he decided to stay with the Cavs, it meant that he had a strong tolerance.

I wouldn't have considered this the best move, career wise. As I did before.

But I think that on a personal level, I would be able to understand it and appreciate it.

He must be close with his family, and that they had a strong support behind him for him to make this decision. I think that being happy matters, and while his decision may had been influence by his family members. I am fully confident that had he wanted to make any other decisions, his family would have supported him either way.

Just as he did before.

Cleveland is not better right now. I don't know many people that think they are.

Yeah they are the better long term option for him. So are a lot of other teams. If he was a complete frontrunner he could've gone to Houston. He didn't choose the absolute best situation for his chances of winning and people still have a problem with it.

Pretty much any damn team he goes to there will be a big 3. That's his fault?

I used to be bad. Like a "I hope LeBron snaps his knee the next time he goes up for a dunk" bad. I stopped hating him after that 45 point (73% FG) game 6 performance against us in the 2012 ECF. It killed me to watch, but I knew I was witnessing one of the best playoff performances of all time. Hard to hate on a guy like that. I don't know what it is about him going back to the Cavs, but I appreciate him even more for it. Not for him, but what he can do for the city and their fans. I grew up in an era where my Celtics were awful. I suffered through the Dee Brown/Dino Radja/Rick Fox years, got my hopes dashed time and time again in the early 2000s playoffs, and finally got to experience my oldest love winning an NBA championship in 2008. Maybe I like coming of age stories, maybe I'm just trying to relate to Cavs fans...but I'm excited for both him and the city of Cleveland. And for NBA fans...this'll be a real fun team to watch.
