23. 23 has the history and it would be spectacular to see 23 return. I guess 6 would symbolize a whole different player than he was before but I'm a stickler for history.

I'm quite sure Lebron doesn't want to go back to the number 23. he wants to build his own legacy so he needs his own number and 23 will always be MJ's number.

Cleveland and NBA will force him to take #6. THey don't want people to use old jersey's and not buy knew ones. The difference in revenues between people buying new #6 jerseys and people dusting up their old #23 is millions, millions and millions of dollars.

no way

or maybe he wanted to stick to 23 when he went to the heat but unfortunately heat retired MJ's number so lebron chose 6 and now he can retain his number and cleveland will save it for him

Will Cleveland keep their ugly uniforms? They should go back to the LeBron era uniforms or a completely new redesign.

On his website they photoshopped a pic of him in a new cavs jersey (i don't think he ever wore their new style of jerseys) and he's wearing number 6.

I think he'll either wear #6, but I lean towards #32.

That's true.

The NBA might as well go all out. Allow players to change their numbers every single season.

During one stint with one team, a player can change his number only once.
