Leaving a team that made the Finals 4 years in a row for a team that can't even sniff the playoffs in the East. Talk about frontrunner.

Wait, so he stops shooting his load in your mouth and now all of a sudden you're left with a salty taste?

Wipe your lips, pick yourself up off your knees, and deal with it.

STFU Pippen stan. No one ever said that. Compared to the league they're in from 2011 - 2013 they were certainly extremely stacked. No revisionist history here, bro.

If Miami beat SA in 5 games in the finals, he would not of gone to Cleveland.

But Miami was headed for trouble and he knew it. If you are going to be on a rebuilding team, why not do that in your home town and not Miami.

I actually give more props for Lebron to return to his roots. Yes he probably thought grass was greener in Miami but nothing better then home sweet home.

When they add Love, yes. If not, 4-5 seed in the East.

PJ Carlessimo, who's much more knowledgeable than you, agrees with me.

4-5 seed suggests 44-48 wins. That underrates LeBron's impact but this is one reason I am glad he moved to the Cavs and why I hope Bosh remains in Miami. Let's see how much Cleveland improves with LeBron and how much Miami regresses. Cleveland with Durant is a 50 win team; LeBron puts them in the 55-60 range.

He left the Heat for a better situation going forward. What are you even arguing?

The 2014 Cavs had their best player injured for a number of games this past season. They also have another #1 draft pick who can make impact. Possibly getting Kevin Love. 33 wins isn't indicative of their quality, to be fair.

It's not that simple. But of course LeBron makes them a contender. I see your agenda though.

Now that Wade's knees are shot, and the Cavs are stacked with young talent, Cleveland is now "home" again. Funny how home wasn't good enough 4 years ago when they didn't have the supporting cast to break through like they do now.

They were 28-43 with Irving. Yeah, Wiggins will help but the Cavs are a borderline playoff team absent LeBron. Love joining changes things but I'll believe that when I see it. If LeBron wanted to ring chase HOU, LAC, DAL, CHI, PHX all made more sense--or he could have remained in Miami with a team that made the past four Finals. Cleveland is not a better situation than Miami next year unless Love is there. P.J. and your fellow MJ stan, TheMan, are both forecasting a 4-5 seed, which means 45-48 wins.

Bet.

If the Cavs reach 57 wins or more, I'll leave ISH. If they fall short, you leave for good. We're talking just adding LeBron, though. If they add, Love, Allen and Miller, that's almost a completely different team.

You game?

I don't really see how you can't say he's not somewhat of a frontrunner. He left Cleveland when they were pretty close i.e. maybe one piece away, maybe one or two bad Lebron games away, maybe one old contending team like Boston from declining away, etc. to join a team with two all-stars/superstars. Then 4 years later he leaves the team that put him in a position to get to the Finals every single year because they're on the decline despite still being just a little retooling away from winning it all again (even without that they were still considered the overwhelming East favorites next year) to go back to a team that seems to have the better long-term outlook and overall roster (highly doubt he goes back if Kyrie doesn't sign extension and they don't get the no 1. pick which will either be Andrew Wiggins or turned into Kevin Love or they somehow end up getting both). On top of that, it seems like the only way he would've stayed in Miami is if they somehow got another top 5-10 player in Carmelo Anthony at the expense of another all-star they already had.

With that said, he's not nearly the frontrunner it sounded like he was at the beginning of this free agency. At least there's other reasons he went back and the Cavs aren't really superstacked or anything plus it doesn't sound like he considered anywhere else. Had he really went to a team like the Rockets or Clippers like it was rumored he'd consider, then no one could deny that he was arguably the biggest frontrunner in sports history.
