Jeremy Lin will lead the Lakers to the playoffs.
this team fits him really well.
The have great shooters like Kobe,Young,Bazemore and Nash that can space the floor exceptionally well.
They have a nice hustling Center who can finish inside and they will get a decent SF in Ariza or Deng.:applause: :applause:
They also picked a great player in Randle:applause:
Lin and Kobe are the best backcourt in the NBA if Kobe lets Lin play Floor general.
Kobe should welcome that because he will EASILY average 20+ like that even if he doesnt have his athleticism anymore.
Jeremy Lin is the best leader and hardest competitor i have ever seen in the NBA and he will somehow get the Lakers into the playoffs.
Book it Laker fans, playoff drought is already over again.
Houston on the other hand..

Seems like Rockets traded Lin and all his bandwagon dipsh!ts to the Lakers with him. This season is going to be brutal for a Lakers fan.

He is going to be a solid contributor on a pretty bad team. Not his fault though there is alot more wrong with the Lakers than Jeremy Lin.

As people already said, will Kobe let Lin over handle the ball like he did during Linsanity.

Lin cannot play off the ball as well as he can when he dribbles around for 17+ seconds of the shot clock.

He is deadly with the pick and roll. And I think he is a better defender than given credit for. Of course if compared to Har_en, he looks like an NBA first all defensive:roll:

Lakers got rid of the one coach (D'Antoni) that probably suits Lin the best, and Kobe is not going to allow Lin to dominate the ball.

In Laker land, the ball runs through Kobe first and second. Lin will learn his place in the pecking order pretty quick.

At least Lin has experience dealing with ballhogs like Melo and Harden... now Kobe.

Lin is overrated garbage LOL only thing that gives him a starting spot is his being an Asian. He's not even the best PG on the Rockets.

He didn't deal that well with Melo coming back and never played well with Harden, so that doesn't bode well.

I don't even care if Lin starts. I'll just be happy to not see him get benched everytime he turns the ball over or misses two jump shots in a row or gets treated like an afterthought by his own coach.

he WILL start.
Any unbiased coach will see after the second training session that Lin is the best or second best player on that Lakers team( because Kobe is old)

haven't you reported me for racism cause of my lin avy? i might sound a bit racist here but so be it. 75 percent (if not more) of jeremy lin's fan base are asian and that's why he gets his amount of credit. let's be real here what has he actually done in the league besides go on this "run" for 2 weeks? absolutely nothing. there are plenty of players in the nba who have better stats / do more flashy shit / better runs / you name it than jeremy lin. why is there still an obsession for jeremy lin? let me tell you why. racism. people are still dwelling in the pass and need to get over it. he almost made the allstar game last year from fan votes. :biggums: He was MIA in the playoffs in 2012 and 2013 but still got 4th place votes in the guard sections over players like Harden, Westbrook, Lillard and Parker..? :biggums: If that's not racism I don't know what is. So if you report people you report yourself but you won't because like stans double standards never apply to themselves or who they root for.

No the Melo situation was different. Melo was pissed at D'Antoni and the success the Knicks had when they were out with injuries. The team actually looked pretty good during that run. Then Melo and Jr came back and it got difficult for Lin to intentionally incorporate those players because the ball moved pretty well and he made plays for teammates not specific people.

If you look at that run the Knicks had then that was the happiest the players had been ever because everyone was involved. Look at the interviews they had then.

It depends on who is the coach that will determine what Lin will be with the Lakers but having Nash to teach him it should be solid.

Anyone who's actually worth mentioning. Some people are placing Lin on some kind of olympic pedestal like he's actually done something worth a damn. Tell me what has he actually accomplish in basketball? (Please don't name his linsanity run or his ridiculous contract).

I agree partially with what you say about the team chemistry but after he was put on the scouting reports teams figured him out. Just look at his linsanity game vs miami. Had 1 FG and a bunch of FTs. After Dantoni was fired was the team not happy making it to the playoffs? Or the next year when they had 50+ wins?

If another point guard, ie. Raymond Felton (for example), had that kind of run when Jeremy Lin did would there be as many Raymond Felton fans as there are Jeremy Lin fans? Absolutely not, hell fcuking no. And why's that? Because people root for him cause of his skin color. RACISM. What a joke, people have no double standards. Marlo "reports" me for my avy for a picture of Jeremy Lin "crying" but when people post pictures of Lebron James or Kevin Durant crying it's not racist? Just disgusting.

I was going to mention that run from 2 years ago but it wasnt the same. I would put that early season run as number 2. But I am talking about the players all being happy making contributions and increased effort.

Lin is a good PNR and freelancer. Lin wasnt totally figured out it was a conscious effort to stop him. He was still making an adjustment to the league and he was getting every teams best effort to stop him because they didnt want to be a victim of Linsanity also it was partially racially motivated.

I am specifically speaking about him not being able to play with Melo. Melo and Jr didnt want to be part of Linsanity either. He wasnt fully embraced by Melo or Jr.

I cant speak to his time with the Rockets but I can speak to the Melo Lin collaboration. This is why Lin wanted out and went after the poison pill.

So you still haven't answered the question on how my avy is racist but pictures of kevin durant and lebron james crying isn't racist and over used on this forum?
because you put Lins asian crying face in there like" look at this weak chinese guy crying"
why would you put a face of a player in your avy when you clearly hate him, let alone the only asian player in the league??
and even if you are not racist you are still an ignorant prick
