We'll see how good he is this season when he won't have the best player in the world. He's replaceable.

One of the worst offensive coaches in the league. A great defensive mind.

3/10 - bad coach who didn't make changes when needed
One of the worst offensive coaches in the league.
:biggums:
:facepalm
The Heat offense in 2013 and 2014 were all time great levels in terms of efficiency.

You know nothing of his past, the only reason it was so efficient was a man called Lebron James have you heard of him?

Well that's true
Spoelstra I felt was pretty decent, 7/10 up until 2014 where I felt his coaching kinda got worse for some reason so like 4/10 for 2014

He had Lebron James in 2011 and 2012. :facepalm
Spo was improved his offense tremendously.
When it came to offense Spo was irrelevant in 2011. Improved in 2012. Elite in 2013 and 2014. And the numbers show it.

changes he made to the offense going into 2012 was great, his finals this year was terrible tho and was disappointing

He fvcked up the defense schemes and making his adjustments. But let's be honest the Heat players straight up shit the bed. (Wade :facepalm ) The offense was there the first three games. :confusedshrug:

I would give coach Spo 9/10 as well. Coaches, like Erik Spoelstra, never get the proper credit they deserve when their teams win and get way more share of the blame when their teams lose.

This is difficult. I think he's a good coach, and did an above average job. Probably a solid B/B- over the last four years.
I think the decision to rest Wade while running LeBron into the ground all of last year was fatal. Perhaps he should have figured out a way to rest both, or exercise some gravitas and encourage Wade to develop his game more so that he doesn't have to rely on being so physical to score. Guiding guys like Wade into changing their game or picking up other skills that fit the long term goals of the team are what separates Spoelstra from Pop.
However, I think Spo has it in him to develop that in time.

I don't think Spo gets enough credit for Miami's defensive rotations and the post-up sets he used to draw for LeBron.
If Spo resorts to using Bosh and Wade iso's going forward however, it will prove that he's simply another Mike Brown.

He was garbage.
Chalmers and Wade were grossly ineffective. Did he start cole? Did he make bosh the number 2 in terms of plays called? Did he ever make a single brilliant in game adjustment?
The guy has made a single handful of adjustments between games that were clever. He doesnt go away from whats not working midgame, he doesnt have the respect or balls to put ineffective players in their place, and he gets routinely outcoached.
He is another Mike Brown. Someone LBJ haters talk about as amazing until LBJ leaves and then they see who he really is. Remember every kobe fan talking about how Mike Brown is a genius and it was LBJ that was effective? Then he came to the Lakers and suddenly he sucks lol.
