Just wondering. Some common ones:

2/5 = 40%
5/7 = 71.4%
11/12 = 91.7%
6/6 = 100%

But 0/0 = ?%

It's actually indeterminate, as in we have no idea what Melo would do in a Finals series.

But it could be any value.

dont divide by zero bro. Didn't they teach you that in math?

I'd tell Melo that, but he went back to the Knicks. :facepalm

Yes, but that's it's own bubble universe like in Darnie Darko. But if we think of Carmelo's career in terms of entropy:

Negative Entropy = Carmelo's Potential when drafted

So the universe starts off with a bang of huge amounts of negative entropy, and then gradually descends into chaos. And so we can see Mel's potential going toward zero in a negative fashion.

So whatever the answer is, it should be written as:

0/-0 = -undetermined value

Obviously Hakeem is one of the greatest "winners" ever. He has a .667 Finals winning percentage (2/3.)

Let's just forget the fact that he played 18 seasons, went to the playoffs in 15 of them, and was knocked out in the first round EIGHT TIMES (and FIVE of those were blowout losses.)

The only thing that matters is just winning in the Finals.
