double post
Germans are a team and don't rely much on individualism.
However, OP is a troll as he has Messi number 3 and no Ronaldo( Portugal) in the top 15.
Part myth. Would've never had such consistent success without excellent players. Bundesliga just doesn't have nearly as many international stars over the decades or media exposure, which causes a lot of German player to not get their dues. Then when they come together as a team all of a sudden it's just the part myth of the German machine that explains most of the success and not the fact that Germany has produced many awesome players over the years.
1- Maradona (Argentina)
2- Pele (Brazil)
3- Messi (Argentina)
4- Distefano (Argentina)
5- Garrincha (Brazil)
6- Zidane (France)
7- Ronaldo (Brazil)
8- Cruyff (Netherlands)
9- Beckenbauer (Germany)
10- Romario (Brazil)
11- Passarella (Argentina)
12- Puskas (Hungary)
13- Eusebio (Portugal)
14- Platini (France)
15- Charlton (England)
Negged for not at least having Lothar Matthaeus in there, the greatest box to box midfielder of all time and, IMO, the German GOAT.

I'm not asking for a lot of German players in there, but I'd see nothing wrong with at least two German players in the top 15. Maybe 3. I also don't like the fact that minus Beckenbauer the list of full of offensive players (and even Beckenbauer was well known for his offensive contributions).

cruyff should be 4th at least and passarella is random as hell.. anyway generally speaking defenders dont impact the game as much as mids and forwards.. so beckenbauer should be the only defender(lots of offensive qualities anyway) in the top 20.. maldini and baresi are after him probably..
the list is decent though maybe george best somewhere in there

Bobby Moore is the GOAT defender.
To the person who negged me, if I saw the world only from inside a shitty German prism, I'd argue for more than 2-3 German players in the top 15. I'm okay with two. :lol

I like the Romario pick...He is hard to rate imo but he was certainly alot better than what most Europeans think.
Passarella is an odd pick. Ragaz gonna get mad that George Best isnt on there.

Ronaldo and Messi can't even dream of having a World Cup as dominant as Eusebio's in 1966. It's beyond their comprehending.

Zidane is so fcking overrated. People act like he carried France in 98 and 02 when in reality France had the GOAT- defensiv team back then.
Thuram,Blanc,Vieira,Dechamps,Petit, Desailly, Makelele +++ were the reason the were so sucsessful.

If anything, he is underrated. Way better competition back then compared to what Messi, CR and today's superstars are facing.
And what's all that talk about Messi being a GOAT candidate? Some people better stick to basketball.

I never said it was end-all, brilliant genius. Anyone who thinks eusebio > ronaldo is laughable doesn't know shit.
Dude was a beast at Benfica too. European Cup winner. Check his goal rate at all levels.

People remember the clutch goals. Horrible way to rate players imo. 2 moments shouldn't indicate footballing ability. Not knocking Zidane though.

You completely read that wrong.
Eusebio's goal rate smashes Ronaldo's, at club and international level.
