View Full Version : Lets be real, LeBron couldn't handle the pressure of "Championship or bust" like...

Kobe and Jordan could.

So he's going to Cleveland now where even a second round exit would please those fans.

Fun fact, LeBron James has made 6 ECF's out of his 11 year career, and never lost in the first round. 6 of 9 trips to the playoffs (missed playoffs 2x) he has made it out of the second round. I like his chanves bro.

So tell me, would you be upset if Cleveland made the second round and lost to lets say, the Bulls?

You have a point.

And did you see Lebron's statement? He said there was "no way" they'd win a title next year. He said it to undermine the talent he's playing with and to alleviate the pressure.

If they don't make the finals, it has to be a failure.

Yeah but the East is so bad the Cavs are actually the favorites to win the title this year :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

It's a lose/lose because his conference is so shit that his team is going to be the favorite regardless

When did MJ or Kobe have "championship or bust" expectations every year? Especially the former. Jordan won, his team lost. It was a perfect situation for him. He also retired twice coming off three-peats. Does that mean he ran from the pressure using this odd logic?

Who is picking the Cavs to come out the East? Most people have them losing in the ECSF or ECF and anywhere from 2nd-4th best in the conference.

He won 2 rings with those expectations? :lol

They are literally the vegas favorites to win the championship. Thats how bad the East is.

That reflects the general public. How many people who actually follow basketball have them as the favorites? There was a thread earlier ranking the top 8 teams in the East and most people had the Cavs 3rd or 4th. The Bulls were the most frequent choice for #1. Carlesimo has them 4th or 5th.

Cleveland is a team that won 33 games last year and added LeBron and a 19 year old. They have a new coach. It is unlikely that they dominate or get to the Finals, although any LeBron team has a chance to do so.

I think that's mostly due to the Vegas bookmakers banking on the Cavs landing Love, which is a possibility. Even if that happens and they make it out of the East (which will be much more competitive than it has been these last 3 or so miserable seasons), they'll just be fodder for the Spurs. Which would be hilarious, when you think about it.

And the reason Bron tucked tail and ran from Miami, back to the place where he originally tucked tail and ran from... wasn't because of the sappy PR reasons his team cooked up. The truth is the Historic ass whooping the Spurs gave them made Bron realize in order for them to compete with SA or any other upper echelon West squad, they'd need some retooling. He figured, why wait on a mini rebuilding process with an older team when he can go back home, get the max, and reboot with a young talented (if overall raw) roster and maybe form a new big 3 with Love and Irving.

Basically traded in a 32 year old Wade for a 22 year old Irving as his sidekick. Might trade in Bosh for Love and still keep a potential star player in Wiggins.

But he's smart enough to know they aren't challenging for the 'ship for a season or 2. But if it all comes together, could be a dynasty soon.

Bron about to be on his sidekick shit :applause: :applause:

Hopefully he learned from 2011 where his team couldn't even win with him as the sidekick :lol :oldlol:

lol, Lebron's a big muscled puss. Dude left Miami for Cleveland, says making Cleveland a contender would be a long process but only signed 2 year contract with them. What a joke. He's like trying out teams and see who has better chance of going to the Finals.

This guy's the complete opposite of guys like Jordan, Kobe, Bird...
