Here's the situation.

My brother Walter, is about to turn 40 years old soon. He is a sniper in the United States Army, so he can basically move wherever the hell he wants. He is a big fan of Lebron James. He is considering moving to Cleveland and getting season tickets to the Cavs this year.I told him i would ask around the internet for advice on what its like living there since he is not good with the internet

Hows the city? where are good neighboorhoods? Are there good schools for his kids?

thanks.

Seeing videos like this makes me want to warn him not to move there

for an NBA player you do this:

-Get a condo for the season.
-get a ho to bang.
-get a good cable package.
-play video games.
-get out after the season ends.

Season tickets are already sold out, so tell him to not waste his time.

besides the fact that this sounds like a terrible movie idea

if getting season tickets and watching Lebron is his biggest concern.
somehow, I think he's gonna make it.

People buy season tickets just to raise the price and sell them to someone else.My Brother moves all the time so its not like he is going to live in Cleveland for the rest of his life.He has lived in Milwaukee,Miami,Seattle, and Boston over the past couple years just to name a couple cities.

Well if he can get them, then do it. At least he's committed, unlike some fugde packer who resides 12 states away and never spends money on tickets yet claims to be a die hard fan! :lol

People think that a guy in Europe or in Texas that is a fan of LeBron James who use to wear a Heat jersey but is now wearing a Cavs jersey has the same say as a born and raised Clevelander, enduring the shitty city of Cleveland who is a fan and spent their hard earned money actually buying tickets and going to games?

Anyone can sit in a place like sunny orange county California pool side with their laptop and claim to be a fan of Lebron James......what exactly are they contributing?

There's a pecking order to this shit and it's time people started respecting it. Simply put, some fans opinions have more weight and value than other fans depending on who they are a fan of, for how long, and where they reside.

Living in or near cleveland is very unremarkable. Nothing crazy or unique about it.

It has everything you would expect a major city to have. Home prices are comparable to other similarly sized places.

It snows more because of the lake effect but that's about it.

I would say it's more cosmopolitan than cities it's size, it has very large jewish, and eastern european populations, but there are also a fair amount of italians, puerto ricans, and regular anglos.

I think the best part of Cleveland is the food scene. Plenty of fine dining and unique and interesting places to eat and buy food.

How can you live wherever you want in the military?

Unless he's ST6 or some shit, he has a duty station, and even those guys have a place (NC) they have to show up for work every day.

He's a sniper with 11 years experience. With a shot like that, they will let him live where he wants and call upon him when a 400 yard headshot with 70mph winds coming at him is needed.

Would your brother move to Miami if Lebron was still with the Heat?

my brother Walter has 18 years of experience as a Long Range Sniper.

In that case I may require his services in the future. :lol

But in all seriousness, tell your brother from one NBA fan to another, his service to this nation is much appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

Better tell him to get a one-year rental since it seems LeBron may be planning to make the Decision an annual summer tradition now.

Is he gonna sign all two-year deals with a one-year opt out from now on? Maybe he'll try to go back to Miami in 2015. Or take the circus act on the road.

Can't wait to read next summer's testimonial. "I said I'd come home and I did. I never said for how long...."
