The asking price put on Loves head by Minnesotta is wayyyy over the top and at this stage I think the Cavs should walk away and look elsewhere. At this stage I would be looking to share the love and target two players.
Ryan Anderson and Al Horford. Im confident between Bennett, Waiters, picks and Varejos expiring they can get both of these guys in for a tiny bit more then it would cost to get 1 overrated Kevin Love.

A sign and trade for Monroe would make a lot of sense in my opinion.

I second Ryan Anderson. Putting him on the floor with LeBron, Wiggins and Irving.....  He's pretty much what Miami was trying to turn Chris Bosh into.

No one. I want the team to stay how it is.
Edit: Ryan Anderson would be dope actually. Rim protector is far more important however.

People need to take Varejao out of the equation. One of the reasons LeBron came back was to play with Andy. He isn't being traded.
Horford is unlikely to be traded. However, Ryan Anderson would be a fantastic fit next to James. I'd be OK making a deal for him, depending on what we'd have to give up and the status with his injuries.

Now that LeBron is back I don't think Varejao is being traded. He's the last team-mate from the original team. What will probably happen is we'll keep him long-term. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires a Cavalier honestly. He's making over $9 million in his last season of his contract, I expect him to come back and probably resign for less.

You need a center bro :coleman:

Big Z's corpse  Bran owes him a title anyway.

Cavs need another scorer. Three point shooters. And a defensive center.
In other words a 2012 Chris Bosh.
You can probably find players to do 2 out of the three. And then a strict one job guy.

maybe Lebron can collude with Kevin Durant next.

You ain't getting Ryno unless you take or find another team for Eric Gordon. Unless Wiggins is involved, Cleveland has nothing NOLA needs.

Horford could be available, Ferry has made it known that he could be moved. I don't know that the Cavs could swing it though unless we decide to blow it up and rebuild. Don't know why we'd do that though since we should be a top 4 team in the East if everyone is healthy even without doing a damned thing in free agency.
I could see a trade going down though, Horford for Waiters + Thompson + a first or Bennett maybe?

Have to say, just for comic purposes it would be great if Bennett was traded to the Hawks. :oldlol:
Then when I end up being right, you can actually reap some of the benefits instead of being served a nice dish of crow, which I'm already preparing. ;)
In all seriousness, I'd do Waiters and Thompson plus a first for Horford, assuming his shoulder issues are OK.
PG: Kyrie Irving - Matthew Dellavadova
SG: Andrew Wiggins - Mike Miller
SF: LeBron James - Joe Harris - Carrick Felix
PF: Anthony Bennett - Anderson Varejao
C: Al Horford - Anderson Varejao
We'd need to add a rotational big to help Bennett at the 4, but that looks like a pretty damn good lineup. Have to say, I wish we still had Zeller. The frontline is looking a bit thin.

Even Lebron has said a title is a longshot next year, so why not let him build up the young guys and then orchestrate a Love sign-and-trade at the deadline or next summer? Maybe Bennett/Thompson/Waiters will show enough to swing the deal by then. Of course, it all depends on Love's desire to play with Lebron/for a title vs. a flashier market.

I dont think clippers would trade him but deandre jordan would fit amazingly. Is there another young center who protects the rim, can keep up on perimeter d, and runs the floor well.

I hope 90% of these are sarcastic. Every player on cleveland's roster from last year(that won 33 games in the shitty east) went up 500%.
they could trade Waiters/TT for Durant...but OKC would need to throw in Russell because Waiters/TT are coming from a team that had just signed LeBron.
