Probably the fact that Green has never been as good as Wiggins was even in college, in his entire NBA career.

What's the difference between Dion Waiters and Marcus Thorton?

It's close, but Thornton is a more explosive scorer and a more dynamic player overall.

Green proved last year that he can shoot and score. Wiggins looks like a super athletic dude who loves to shoot but can't.

What's the difference between Andrew Wiggins and Gerald Green?
Gerald Green is 28 years old and has played 8 seasons in the NBA for 7 different teams. He played sub-par 6 of those season then finally found some magic in New Jersey then finally landed in an optimal spot for his ability in Phoenix last year. Also Gerald Green is missing half of one of his fingers. It took Gerald Green 6 seasons of under-performing to get to what he is right now. A highlight dunk reel averaging 16 points, at 45% shooting per game.

Andrew Wiggins just turned 19 years old 5 months ago and is incredibly athletic. Maybe more athletic than Gerald Green possibly. While he's still raw offensively he's ahead of the learning curve on the defense end with great effort and great instincts. He has shown the willingness to put in work and try to be a great player. Also he has all 10 of his fingers.

So in short Wiggins is better defensively, 9 years younger (almost 10 year), just as athletic and has all 10 of his fingers.

Emphasis on the fingers.

The difference is one has never played a game in the NBA yet and cannot be judged

Well, Gerald Green has never had a 13 game stretch where he averaged 21+ points a night on at least 51% from the field and 46% from three and Green is over 28 years old.

Wiggins just did it at 19 years old. Toss in the 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.2 steals just for fun.

When Green was Wiggins' age, he was still in college. Despite that, Wiggins has already accomplished something in his first three months in the league that Green hasn't done in 10 years as a pro.

In other words, congratulations on being totally wrong on yet another player. Has anyone ever taken the time to compile a list of players PB assured us would stink or be average and they ended up putting the league on notice almost immediately?

I'm guessing it would be almost as extensive as the list of guys he guaranteed would be stars who are now either riding the bench or out of the league. J/S

Wiggins isn't a dumb thug.. Whose literally retarded.. Wiggins is smooth with nice midrange and seems quite intelligent/humble eager to learn and grow.
