Petition to create a Soccer(Football) subforum

I know we've asked numerous times but it's sorely needed.. We have a NFL forum but we probably have 2-3x the amount of soccer fans.

Who ever is interested just post and say you're interest and i'll add your username to the list. Let's try to gauge interest on a forum

Naaah. During this WC everything exploded a little, but I feel during the season we are pretty good at keeping the footy talk confined to one or two threads. Which isn't a hassle. There is no seperate BTE sub either. No seperate movie/music sub. It's all good because it's all stuff many people want to talk about and it's not an inconsiderate number of threads for the people who don't care for it.

The reason the NFL forum need to be seperate is because two or three NFL fans would create seperate threads for every single rumor and every single important game flooding the OTC with many NFL shit every single weekend even though almost nobody cared.

I feel theres less talk because we have to confine ourselves two one mega thread but with a forum we can have actual discussions and what not. We can create threads for each league, a general transfer thread, transfer thread, threads for the big games(real v Bayern, etc), the tournys(WC, EC, coppa america, olympic, qualifiers, etc)

Mixing the two footballs together in one forum is a horrible idea. Every other thread would be an argument about which sport is more entertaining and which sport has the better athletes.

If you make a new subforum for soccer, i doubt many people will go there.

Just look at the team subforums here. If i want to talk about the Bucks, I'd rather make a thread in the main forum then going to the Bucks subforum where i know no one will see it.

no it wouldn't...there are way more US posters here than foreigners

vast majority of US posters don't care about soccer outside of the World Cup...meanwhile the Super Bowl attracts all of us, the NFL forum was created because NFL threads were dominating the OTC every year, and the only time that happens to the OTC with soccer is during the WC
