View Full Version : Just watched McDermott and I think he can lead the NBA in scoring...

I truly believe with a legitimate green light and teammates that support him, Doug McDermott can lead the NBA in scoring. Of course, we all know he is an amazing shooter. However, what few know is, he seems unfazed with a hand in is face. He will square up after a jab step with you right in his face and drain it. His post game is beautiful, especially his turn around fade away off one leg, Dirk style. He takes advantages of mismatches beautifully. He will bully you if you're small and does not let you off the hook.

Unfortunately, a lot of white players don't get the green light due to jealousy and envy, IMO. Even if the coaches see it, they fear the rest of the team will stop playing hard and sacrifice the coaches jobs.

I hope this kid is given a real opportunity.

Why do you post in bulls threads and contribute Nothing?

You don't have to like his thread or opinion, but at least put an intelligent response.

Good analysis OP, I think your prediction would be a little far fetched among the ISH members here, but I see what you are saying.

A lo to of talk surrounds Mirotic and McDermott, however we have another diamond in the rough Bairstow

Very exciting season for the Bulls this year.

I think jameer is still bummed that his franchise can't utilize their draft opportunities properly

Just remember Adam Morrison averaged 26 points in the SL a few years back.

I like Bairstow, too. Of course, we're not even mentioning Snell's improvement. You guys have a load of young talent. Great job by the front office.

I see Augustine just signed with Detroit, but you resigned the better defensive player in Hinrich. I'm a huge Jimmer fan, so part of me hopes he can resign.

Sure thing. So what is the actual bet? I say he will average 20+ by his third season.

I make this bet in knowing, he could easily be sabotaged by jealous teammates.

I know you're just trolling right now but Payton has looked really good so far. Gordon is at least a couple years away from being NBA ready. Has potential but won't do anything besides offer some d for a while. Bairstow will be a surprise pick this draft, I've seen him play a bit for the national team and he can ball, is isn't on payton's level (nor should be need to be considering where he was picked) though but he should be able to find a role which is good for a second rounder. I'm excited to see the bulls this season, the east is going to actually be fun to watch again.
