Nice to see cavs fans paying attention to anything other then LeBron.
Bennett has looked awesome in summer league, trimmed down 15 pounds and putting up big numbers.

dont know if this is sarcasm or not... i've see about every minute of NBA action including preseason games and summer league that Bennett has played in...
He looks transformed to say the least. I'm very excited to see him develop. I'm a huge AB fan

the kid looks like a stone baller this summer, playing with a ton of energy.
D. Blatt calls him AB.
Bennett said he's lost between 15 and 20 pounds since the end of last season and is now back down around 240. He played a team-high 30 minutes during the team's second game of summer league, scoring 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting while grabbing a team-high 14 rebounds.
He's made a strong first impression on Cavs head coach David Blatt.
"AB has been good since day one since I came," Blatt said. "He's really working hard to get himself in shape. He's really, really trying to do a lot of different things on the court to help the team. It's a work in progress but he's doing a great job.
"I came in and Anthony came in with a clean slate. Physically he's really worked hard and I think that's the most important thing is for him to get into shape to be the kind of player he can be. Last year is in the past. We're looking ahead and I really believe and hope that Anthony can be a part of what is ahead."
form a fat bust to 'A. Beast"

Down to about 240 huh? Hopefully that translates to increased quickness, explosiveness and endurance. I guess we'll see in a few months.

Same. I've said it before, but if AB continues to develop as he's been, I don't see why we even need K-Love.
Would much rather keep our talented young core together, especially given that Lebron is already 30. Of course we want to win now, but not at the expense of our future.

There's also something to be said for figuring out how to win with the guys your team has drafted, nurtured and watched grow. I think it makes for a much more fun, intimate scenario than rounding up a band of essentially basketball mercenaries.
My best case scenario and preference would be championships with LeBron, Kyrie, Dion, Tristan, AB, Wiggins, Andy, etc. It may be more difficult and it is likely that at least one or two of our young core will be moved, but if I had my preference, that's how I would want it to go.
Particularly with AB, I just feel like people are going to be eating their words if he remains a part of this team. His game and skillset fits almost perfectly alongside LeBron and Kyrie. He's also a damn good rebounder.
