Phoenix Suns big man Alex Len has fractured a finger in his right hand and will miss the remainder of summer league, the team announced on Sunday. Len sustained the injury on Saturday night against the Golden State Warriors when his pinky got stuck in an opponent's jersey, per the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro.

This is rough news for 2013's No. 5 overall pick, as he missed summer league last season, too, recovering from ankle surgeries. The 21-year-old had a chance to play big minutes and be a focal point of Phoenix's offense in Las Vegas. With Channing Frye joining the Orlando Magic, there's an opportunity for Len to earn more playing time next season.

Len made only 42 appearances for the Suns as a rookie, averaging 8.6 minutes per game. He had six points and six rebounds in 25 minutes against the Warriors before the injury.

Hope he recover soon and be ready for the regular season. I still believe he can be good but he got to first stay intact. Stop breaking apart :facepalm Big man takes longer to develop and he's young. Bad thing for us is there isn't any veteran big man on the team to guide him. Wish him all the best.
