Don't really think he'll be that good, that's a high ceiling though, peak Peja was a great scorer, although his all-around game left much to be desired and he didn't have much mental toughness... Anyways, we'll see.

Nah, he reminds me more of another white player. Can't remember his name, but he's white, he can shoot, has a high basketball IQ, isn't too athletic... Maybe he's a coach's son? Gymrat, tho.

I think McDermott might end up as a better overall player. I think he is better with the ball in his hands and he is big enough to play in the post against a lot of guys. He's a really smart player off the ball too which will be very valuable with his skill set. Don't know if he will put up the 20 ppg seasons that Peja did but I think he will have a similar level of production.

Peja ****ing airballed a wide open corner 3 at home in the closing seconds of the 4th quarter in Game 7 of the WCF in 02 :oldlol:

I feel sorry for Queens fans.

What? A Kobe highlight video? Dropping 30/10/7 in a Game 7 and making clutch FT after clutch FT? Queens choking despite given so many opportunities?

The series shouldn't have even come down to a Game 6, how the hell did C-Webb leave Robert Horry wide open at the top of the key? :oldlol: :oldlol:

I'm really high on McDermott and I'm probably blind to some things just because I'm a fan but I think he can put up numbers. It really depends on how many shots he gets and if he ever becomes a featured offensive player.

You have to remember that he's playing against rookies and sophomores. Right now he reminds me of Danny Ferry. Both were great college shooters. You'd think Ferry would have shot a better % than Kobe in the NBA but he just couldn't put it through the hoop no matter how many minutes they played him.

McDermott is clearly a better athlete than Danny Ferry was.
