:whatever:

Y'all know, in order for A guard to see his true potential he needs the ball in his hands.

I remember MJ being asked if he wanted to be drafted by the Blazers and he said no because they already had Drexler...

Kobe didn't become Kobe until both Jones and Van Exel where gone...

Tmac had to leave Toronto before he blossomed

Laugh all you want but the Cavs traded Darius Miles bum ass because it wasn't gonna help Lebron grow as a player.

Even with someone like Harden, who went from a sixth man to a 25ppg player after leaving a team with two ball dominant guys.

I feel like we'd be getting robbed of seeing a future stud because he'd be pushed to the side in Cleveland.

Wiggins has 0 handles anyways. He won't ever develop to become an offensive talent.

Despite his freakish hot shooting on step backs in the summer league, his finishing is as bad as ever.

Wiggins needs to work on his off the ball movement. With his athleticism, he can slash the lanes for high percentage shots at the rim all game long. One thing you can say about LeBron, he might hold onto the ball, but he will spot an open guy and he will make the pass. Between Kyrie and leBron he never has to worry about dribbling the ball, just work on back cuts, off-ball screen and rolls and his 3 point shot... and of course, defense.

It would be pretty good for a young player to play on a team where the games actually mean something, and for him to play on a team that plays a couple playoff rounds - and may even get to the ECF.

I'd rather have that then play 82 regular season games on a terrible team like Milwaukee.

Wiggins is not somebody who i want handling the ball a lot at this time...his ball handling is extremely mediocre to say the least..probably his biggest weakness..

hes not gonna be able to develop offensively but if i were wiggins id focus on becoming a lockdown defender...if he does that he instantly makes the cavs a formidable team because now u have two guys in your startng lineup who can guard four positions...thats CRAZY!!!!

i look forward to the cavs having a top 3 defense but they are gonna struggle offensively lets just be honest...i predict them to look like a slightly better pacers team.

u have to remember kyrie is use to being a primary ball handler..wiggins has no offensive go to move..so it will be lebron carrying this team for a few months until everyone can gel.

cavs have to try and package waiters and thompson and get a decent big man....id say go after demarcus cousins or u can always move lebron to the 4, wiggins at the 3....waiters at the 2...but then u have no bench...idk..cant wait to see what the cavs do..because the team right now isnt championship caliber...right now id say they get to the eastern semis and get blown out.

He could try working off the ball getting easy baskets off cuts and pindowns. The NBA isn't 100% iso and/or screen and roll all day yet, right?

8-10 minutes at sf while Lebron is on the bench and 10-12 minutes at SG. There is 18-22 mins right there. More than enough for a rookie. I expect Parker to put up bigger averages. Notice how he didn't wanna go to Cleveland as though he knew Lebron would be signing there.

On that Kawhi Leonard flow.

came in to post this. Wiggins is going to get a lot of open looks and 1 on 1 coverage

Wiggins better get working on that spot-up 3-point shot if he wants to see much playing time this season...

A LeBron / Wiggins tandem has the chance to be a nightmare defensively, especially in the playoffs when the game slows down. Everyone focuses on the offensive side of things, but Andrew has looked incredible defensively so far in SL.

Once his frame fills out a bit, Wiggins will have the ability to defend four positions with his length, athleticism and instincts. LeBron can also defend four positions.

If you watched the Spurs in the Finals, they were able to exploit Miami's defensive weaknesses with picks all over the floor until they found a pressure point and they'd immediately attack it. With two guys who can switch off to basically any man on the floor, it will put tremendous strain on an offense.

In fact, depending upon how mobile Varejao is at this stage, with James and Wiggins out there together, they could really run offenses ragged with a similar hedge/trap aggressive defense that Miami rode to two titles and four Finals.

Scary thing is, Wiggins is way ahead of where LeBron was at the same age in terms of defense. He has all the tools to be a really special defensive player.
