Your trolling is incredibly weak.
It's sad that after 1100+ attempts you still suck at this major level. Or funny, whichever way you look at it, in the end, from both perspectives, you look pathetic

Melo needs to win a few rings before we go there, dude.

Melo didn't get the benefits of Phil Jackson or Shaq in his prime as a teammate, with Phil as his GM/Pres/mentor we will start to see Melo close the gap between himself and Kobe in the next few years. You can put it on the board YES

The only thing Melo is lauded for, Kobe does better. Not to mention rings and his MVP award.

Before 30, Kobe was just a coattail riding Jordan Wannabe. Melo still got time.

So we are giving him a pass for not being good coming into the league?

Yeah, 08 Lakers were staaaaaaaaaaaaaaacked when Kobe smacked Denver in the POs

08 first round

Kobe 34/5/6 on 50% shooting

Melo 21/10/2 on 43% shooting

couldn't even win one Playoff game with AI(who led the Nuggets in scoring and assists), JR, Kenyon Martin and Camby on his side vs Kobe only having Pau & Odom

yes

if jordan or lebron came into the league having to play behind 2 allstars at their position. they would have had to of waited their turn aswell

career averages scew perception. its why total points is more accurate of great scoring than career averages

if you look at the all time top 10 scorers list. its much more respectable than the average list

1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar* 38387 ( arguable goat )
2. Karl Malone* 36928 ( top 15 all time )
3. Michael Jordan* 32292 ( arguable goat )
4. Kobe Bryant 31700 ( top 6-7 all time )
5. Wilt Chamberlain* 31419 ( arguable goat )
6. Shaquille O'Neal 28596 ( top 6-7 all time )
7. Moses Malone* 27409 ( top 15 all time )
8. Elvin Hayes* 27313 ( top 30 all time )
9. Hakeem Olajuwon* 26946 ( top 10 all time )
10. Dirk Nowitzki 26786 ( top 20 all time )

Rank Player PPG
1. Michael Jordan* 30.12 ( arguable goat )
2. Wilt Chamberlain* 30.07 ( arguable goat )
3. LeBron James 27.52 ( top 15 all time )
4. Kevin Durant 27.40 ( no ranking yet )
5. Elgin Baylor* 27.36 ( top 15 all time )
6. Jerry West* 27.03 ( top 15 all time )
7. Allen Iverson 26.66 ( top 50 all time )
8. Bob Pettit* 26.36 ( top 25 all time )
9. George Gervin* 26.18 ( top 40 all time )
10. Oscar Robertson* 25.68 ( top 15 all time )

Last year the Hawks lost 14 out of 15, then another 6 in a row after that.

There was a point where we had Horford, Antic and Ayon out, having to go with Elton Brand (6'8") and Mike Scott (6'7") at center.

The Hawks had two player exceptions to pick up some bigs, but the owners refused to spend the money.

The Knicks were in the driver's seat at the end of the season and had to win their last few games to get into the playoffs.

But they somehow managed to not get into the playoffs.

The Eastern Conference last year was the weakest it has been in a long time.

And yet Melo couldn't get his team into the playoffs.

Why the hell do you think Luke Walton shot so well? Because every shot he took was wide open due to the fact that the entire Nugget team was chasing Kobe around the damn court.

A list that has Kareem #1 and Malone #2 is more respectable than a list that has Jordan and LeBron top 3?

Both lists are consistent imo, yes there are outliers for ppg like Gervin, but what about Elvin Hayes and Dirk in career points? its a wash

gimme someone who can score 30 a night for 10 years than a player who scores 15ppg for 20

Actually the won pretty much all their games to close out the season, they went 16-5 and that still wasn't enough because teams playing the Hawks were LITERALLY throwing their games against them because they didn't wanna see NY in the playoffs. Indy woulda got bounced real quick.

Melo can carry a bad team and Kobe can't, but Kobe is good at winning championship and getting all the credit for it when he actually got carried by his teammates. So that is why Kobe had better career.

LOL no

the career totals list has an averaged out ranking of 10th all time

the career average list has an averaged out ranking of 25th all time ( assuming i give durant around top 50 at his current spot )

add up all their rankings and devide by 10... totals > averages
