If any of you have ESPN insider you should check out the article on ESPN's homepage. Very interesting read. Details a lot of things that people who have been paying close attention already know about Bosh. Like how Gortat put up very similar numbers to Bosh last season, but is only going to get paid about half as much! :facepalm
In other words, Bosh is no where close to being worth a max contract. And for those who believe Lebron is the reason that Bosh's stats have declined in recent years, the writer proves that to be false as well. Bosh's per 36 stats with him and Wade on the floor without Lebron are actually worse than what they are with James on the floor! :oldlol: Can't wait for Bosh to be exposed when the new season gets here.

you're an idiot. It isn't Lebron who causes bosh to be a spot up shooter it's the system they are running which is run for lebron. It isn't lebron saying oh go shoot in the corner it's the whole system being set up that way because they believe creating space for Lebron was their best shot at winning (and they won twice)

It would be the perfect storm if Miami won next season with Bosh as Finals MVP
this place would literally implode

Then why do Bosh's per 36 scoring numbers drop when Lebron is off the floor? :facepalm If Lebron isn't in the game shouldn't he be posting up and trying to score in the paint? What is the point in trying to create space for a player who is on the bench? :lol
If you read the article Bosh says the old him is NEVER coming back! Any Heat fan expecting him to suddenly become this monster scoring machine in the paint is gonna be in for a very rude awakening this fall.

This is a serious basketball thread kid. Stop posting about fantasy scenarios that have no chance of happening.
Man I love the Heat, but I absolutely detest Bosh's contract. He's not a max player by any stretch. That's going to be a Joe Johnson/Rashard Lewis type albatross at the tail end of it. He better become more engaged on the boards. He'll get more touches, so it's no excuses.
F*ck you Morey!

Heat have a pretty solid team next season. In the East, it's at least a Finals contender right now

Corleone, bring back the Dragic avatar and go all-out. This half assed trolling isn't as amusing.

"CB4 is never coming back," Bosh said, referring to his nickname as a Raptor. "A few years later, I think I'm a much better player. It's funny, even all the way over here in Africa, people are telling me, 'We need CB4 back.' I can't be that. That's impossible."
"But I feel I'm a much better leader and a much better player, and I'm much more prepared for the role, the all-around role, that they need me to fill. That's exciting for me to really challenge myself and step up to the plate next year and make sure we get it done, no matter what happens."

This link isn't an Insider, but there is Insider article that has Bosh saying the same.

Finally a realistic Heat fan. :applause: Do people realize that Bosh, along with Kobe, is going to be the highest paid player in the league next season?! :biggums: :facepalm
I expect his rebounding to increase slightly, but only because he will have no one else on the team to compete with. Somebody is gonna have to grab the rebounds for Miami. :lol However, he will still get owned on the boards any time he faces a decent big. He's gonna be embarrassed a lot next year.

Exactly. The system was made for LeBron.

Anyone who actually thinks the Heat have a system is a rutard! :oldlol:
Does anyone believe that Spo is actually calling plays out there? :biggums: He just puts a bunch of shooters on the floor and tells Lebron to make something happen.

"No one on his team to compete with"
So you admit Lebron was padding by stealing rebounds?

No, I am saying if there are no other rebounders on your roster you are going to average more boards.
If Marc Gasol were to leave the Grizzlies Z-bo would average more rebounds, it's common sense. Let me guess, you think Gasol is padding stats by stealing boards from Z-bo?

Maybe I exaggerated a little, but Spo is mad overrated as a coach. He rarely if ever makes in game adjustments. I lost count of how many times the Heat blew a lead this year due to playing predictable isolation basketball in the 4th quarter. I real coach would at least try to run some plays down the stretch. :confusedshrug:

Legacy destroyed. Worse then Wilts one ring and finals stats drop or magic getting aids.

It's the opposite actually. Marc sacrifices a couple rebounds a game to make sure the team:
- Has a good defensive possession
- Gives Z-Bo the best chance to get the offensive board.
Rebounding has become a bit more complicated, the best rule of thumb in my opinion, on a defensive possession, is to assess where a guy is supposed to be. If a wing is averaging 8-10 a game, I begin to question their priorities.
Durant is actually the best example. He can go for 16 rebounds, almost all defensive, none of which, realistically, he had to get. He could have boxed his man, on many he could have leaked, and the Thunder would have a better offensive balance. Instead, he grabs a board, they walk it up, no real impact. Also, very likely he gave a guy a open look to stand close to the rim.
Lebron I have less of a problem with, I understand why they want him to get boards. Problem is, he doesn't push it as much as he used to. That was when him getting boards was ideal. Now it's just mainly stealing, then people complain about how much Bosh gets. Guess what, none boxes out for Bosh. And on offense, well he shoots threes.
