Dan Gilbert would be the biggest troll of the century and the Cavs would still have a good chance to contend.
And it allows Wiggins to develop.

Not a bad idea. Cavs got a bunch of young talent and hook them up with Love, they would be a very good team.
It's a legit question.

Its a fair question. Trade Lebron for Love and the team is instant contenders. We already know what we are getting in Lebron pre-Miami days.

Ultimate revenge move for the city of Cleveland and Gilbert himself.

There are Cavs fans that don't mind this at all.
They have one of the most exciting teams and then Lebron will come in with his ball dominant ways.

isn't their a rule about not trading someone for a couple months after they just sign if it isn't a sign and trade or something?

How hilarious would it be if OKC traded Durant for Paul George? Actually, that's far more likely to happen. :oldlol:
Come on, OP.

Cavs should do this.
But the T-wolves won't because they don't want one year rental of bran knowing that he'll tuck his tail and run back to the east.

Has Durant cheated on OKC before? I don't think so.:coleman:
And no, it's far less likely to happen.

No offseason FA signings can be traded until Dec. 15 of the following season.

Yeah the T-wolves won't accept for this very reason, but it doesn't stop the Cavs from proposing.

There's also the thing about Kevin Love being about half as good as LeBron James. And, the fact that offseason FA signings are not allowed to be traded for five months.
So, yeah.

I'm about 100% sure LeBron's contract has a no trade clause.

I'm 100% sure he doesn't need to have a no trade clause in his contract.

Would be great for wolves. The city would make 300-400 mil because of lebron while Cleveland would lose more than that because of trading him.

This, plus I believe you can't sign and trade another team's FA, or at least in the last CBA that was the rule and I can't imagine that changed.

on a professional basis, people might come to the agreement that he's had the strongest impact on a team basketball basis
on a personal level, he'll just learn that there really wasn't much difference between playing with the Heat/Cavs/or whoever, besides the roster and staff.
assuming he still has the desire to be one of the all time greats that is.

Any team with Lebron would make Playoffs.. U have been exposed a long time ago for trying to compare Durant to Lebron.
