Seems like this guy is the missing link to everyone's championship dreams. He's a great player, however do anyone think he's becoming overrated?

No, just because you're annoyed at hearing his name repeatedly doesnt make him overrated.

No, he's just a great fit with Lebron James.

Every acknowledges he's no number 1 option.

Yes because he's horrible defensively. I'll still take bosh over love everyday of the week.

He's actually becoming underrated... people talking like this guy is some scrub that doesn't even deserve to be in the NBA :lol

Honestly i don't think he is "horrible" defensively...at least not in the wolves games i watched...hes not good on defense thats for sure but horrible is a bit overboard imo...hes not james harden

Why? I wouldn't Love better at just about everything in terms of bball. Defense may be the only edge with Bosh due to his length. But he damn sure didn't show up defensively vs the Spurs. Go figure talkin defense with that guy.

I agree, heck for myself I dont see him being that worse off than Blake Griffin and I'll go as far as to say Aldridge. :confusedshrug:

Bosh, Aldridge, Griffin arent much better. Anthony Davis? Ok now we are talkin. But horrible defense? Eh, a bit overboard I totally agree.

Love could do a better job contesting shots. Not talkin at the rim either.

Would you rather be underpaid or overrated?

he's a known choker, his career scoring average is 20ppg but drops to 0ppg in the playoffs, cant handle pressure

Kevin Love is extremely underrated on this forum because people seem to think devaluing stats makes them sound smarter. Weird trend.

No, that goes to Chris Bosh

That's because he only has a part time contract with the league and paints fences and does some roofing in the summer.

Rebounding is a major part of defense for big men, so it's impossible to be horrible on D when you're one of the leagues best rebounders.

Reminds me of the people who say Dwight is horrible on offense.

Very much so. Bosh is better than him.

True, horrible is a strong word.

very under rated considering the amount of flack he catches on this board. he's just stuck in an awful situation.

Then how has he already surpassed Bosh in All-NBA selections in half the time while playing in a more difficult conference?

Bosh is a more accomplished offensively, has length and can rebound if he has to. People just underrate him because of his long stretch as a third option.

Love is extremely overrated in almost every way. As soon as he lands on a contending team it will become apparent.

I actually see a lot of similarities in Love's and Pau's careers if Love ends up getting traded to Celveland.

Love is a lot more talented than Gasol was.

Rebound if he has too? Yeah he's not paid to rebound.

Boris Diaw out rebounded Chris Bosh. Guess Bosh didn't need to rebound.

Your argument is shit.

He's a bit underrated on this forum. Sadly, people took that "empty stats" thing and ran with it.

6 years in the NBA, scored as many points in the playoffs as Wiggins.

Inferior team vs superior talented teams out West. Minnesota in the East, they make playoffs and Love scores points. Then you kids can say "He cant carry them to the Conference Finals!", "He loses more series than he wins!".

he's a top ten player, but he can't seem to make the playoffs even though he is surrounded with decent pieces.

Its one thing to not advance in the playoffs, but to never make it? Eyebrows are raised.

Garnett didn't have the pieces Love does. Brewer, Martin, Pekovic, Rubio etc. are all good NBA players.

More people than not think he isn't worth a rookie despite averaging 26+15:confusedshrug:

They were also all injured. Not to mention they ARE good but not compared to the other starters on playoff teams in the West. Calderon was disputably on the same level as Rubio. Brewer just a defensive specialist who can get hot and Martin just a spot up shooter at this point. Pek is the only one who actually changes the game a bit. Still though, let's not act like he is Marc Gasol or someone of that nature. I would argue Garnett had better pieces with Spreewell and Alien. Hell even Wallyworld was more legit at one point that the dudes you listed. On top of all this is neglecting the fact that their bench is absolute trash except shved.
