there was a guy i had known for about the last 10~ years, not well, but he was a customer at work. Maybe done work for him a dozen times or so. Relatively young guy, but older than me by about 10~ years. He was a pretty cool guy, sort of cocky, it seemed like he had it going on running a cabling company...we'd have like 10 minute conversations about random stuff whenever he'd stop by, last time we talked for maybe a half hour outside where he was telling me about his visit to China and how he got all of these hot hookers(white guy). that was the last i remember from like a year~ ago...

just find out today his building got sold on the cheap. i was like WTF since the property is worht more than that. i google him....

I knew his cabling business was floundering btw, last time i did work he didn't have money on him, week later i called him, and he had to get some credit card from his mom or somethign to even pay. thats when the China stuff came up because he was trying to run some other business getting some patent on some bobblehead doll that turns in circles, he had showed it to me and it was a real cool 'prototype' nfl doll looking thing that turned and apparently was going to get some company in China to manufacture it for him.

turns out this guy just got convicted for shooting his 'business partner' in the head twice in his building. Apparently he was running a major pot growing operation, authorities were on his trail for 4 months, and i'm guessing his partner was snitching or something. I'm fukking BLOWN AWAY right now....NEVER WOULD HAVE SUSPECTED ANYTHING LIKE THIS FROM THIS GUY. He had a daughter, separated/divorced from his wife...drove a BMW and had a Yukon or something like that. building/property got sold so cheap btw because it was ceased by the government which hired a real estate company to sell it off..... FUKKING NUTS :coleman:

yeah i know people won't believe this but had to say it to somebody anyways...feel better now :pimp:

Does that make you feel cool or something?

Pretty crazy story, just goes to show you that you never really know people as well as you think and some of the criminals you see made out to be evil on tv could be just the same as any one else in this world.

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — A suspected Frederick drug dealer and the businessman charged with murdering him were under police surveillance for weeks before the victim’s body was found in the trunk of his Lexus in December, court records show.

The Frederick News-Post reported Thursday on documents filed in Anne Arundel County District Court. They show that police obtained a wiretap Oct. 5 for the cell phone of John P. Ryan, 37, who was suspected of bringing large amounts of marijuana from California to Maryland.

Four days later, investigators followed Ryan and Crofton businessman Michael A. Stahlnecker, 50, to the northern California town of Grass Valley. They men stayed there four days, the records state.

In November, police documented two meetings between the men at a warehouse leased by Stahlnecker in Laurel, where he also has a business, Computer Power Cabling Corp.

On Nov. 28, two days after their second meeting, Ryan’s cell phone started sending incoming calls to voicemail and he missed a haircut appointment, the records state. Ryan’s wife Sarah reported him missing the next day.

Investigators spoke to Stahlnecker Dec. 1 after Ryan missed a flight to San Francisco. He told them he hadn’t seen Ryan for about a month, police say.

On Dec. 2, police searched Stahlnecker’s warehouse and found a spent, .38-caliber bullet casing and traces of Ryan’s blood.

Police found Ryan’s body Dec. 3 inside the trunk of his car, which was parked in a lot in Montgomery County. He had been shot twice in the head. The car trunk also contained about a pound of marijuana and $1,000, police say.

Police arrested Stahlnecker, 50, on Tuesday as he prepared to board an international flight in New York. He’s being held on a fugitive warrant in New York pending extradition to Maryland.

Attorney Christopher Aragona, who successfully defended Stahlnecker against insurance-fraud and theft charges in 1997, didn’t immediately return a call from The Associated Press.

well, you either work at a convenience store or some expensive joint I hope.

probably closer to the convenience store side. since if you worked at an expensive place, this would be a none-story.

he was a decent guy. he was always cool to me, and friendly askiing how business was and stuff, talked pretty straight up, like even, not condescending or anything, despite being noticeably older. one time i did get the impression he was on blow, he was rubbing his nose, seemed real amped and real talkative...but i'm not too surprised by that. he just seemed like a guy that likes having fun still and probably got married way too early or something. thats the impression i got.

i would never have suspected anything like this, and i keep thinking if i only knew this dude was some huge weed dealer...... :lol

but no way i would've expected anything like this. came across more like a drinker guy, i doubt he even smoked weed. but i have no idea really.

you have no idea how crazy this is....since i just found out about it today. i was wondering what happened to him since i hadn't seen him in awhile and his busiiness had been dead with a bar gate in front.

oh and it was his mom's building/property....i think he may have started the cabling biz tho. thats why the gov ceasing it makes me facepalm. well i'm assuming the gov ceased it given what it sold at...i don't really know tho.

theres more i could say but i'd probably be reading into too much, again he was definitely a somewhat regular, definitely memorable customer. i liked him....just shocking. almost feel bad for him and half afraid of him now :lol
