We're picking up shooters left and right.

I always thought Spoelstra gave him the short end of the stick. He can shoot the lights out when given the chance.

Nice, we've certainly got enough shooters now.
Still in need of backup center and point guard though, which will probably be harder to come by.

Delly and Dion both play PG.
Center is the biggest need.

Can't play D or pass for shit but a great great shooter. Probably won't get any playing time.

Mo Williams for back up PG?? Makes sense to me...
Center market seems thin though..who is still out there? Okafor maybe? I sort of like Stiemsma too.

James Jones had offers from GS, WAS, NO & Miami (of course), but prodding from LBJ won the day. @JasonLloydABJ 1st reported Cavs agreement.

Does he have anything left in the tank? I know he can shoot, but what about playing D?
While they are at it, they should also bring back Delonte West and his offensive "arsenal".

It's puzzling to me why Spo didn't play him more. Yes he's a poor defender but he at least gives effort (unlike Beasley) and is pretty good at drawing charges. Obviously he's a lights out shooter. Anyway, he's a UM guy and Miami native so I wish him the best.

That's a steal at the minimum. Poor RBA won't like this though :lol
dude takes a lot of charges.
also, if miami are offering you same money, why not stay there in your hometown and in that good weather instead of moving to Cleveland bench?

Pause.. he can't pass? lol
His passes consists of passing back to the player who passed him the ball or turning his back while a teammate comes and get it from him. Can't rely on him to make a clean entry pass to the post or a quick read hockey assist. No ball handles, plays flat footed on D, and his rotations and close outs are pretty sloppy. He's a pretty low IQ player who just plays his role as a sharp shooter hence he barely got any playing time.
That being said, he's a good situational player to have on the floor with someone like Lebron. I just don't expect him to play anymore minutes than he did with the Heat. Good pick up for the minimum but nothing to write home about.

Is Okafor healthy enough to play? Prior to FA, there were stories about how contending teams would try to bring him in as a low-risk signing, but I've heard nothing about him. If he can't play, what about some younger (undersized) alternatives like Ed Davis or Ekpe Udoh? Both are out there.

Centers are the hardest thing to come by in this league. Other than Okafor, I really don't see anyone even half way decent on the market.
I suspect we will end up going small with Tristan playing center quite often.

This one hurts a bit. He lives and breathes Miami. But all he can do is shoot. He's tough though. He'll put his body on the line to win.

Delly?
He was ok last year when we were a lottery team, but he's not good enough if we're going to make a deep playoff run. We need a more experienced ball handler for that.

LBJ is building his clique in the locker room.
Allen makes four.
When are we going to see an LBJ picked assistant?

Great shooter and that's about it. I'm OK with it. I'm against bringing in Allen though. Enough is enough with the traveling LeBronettes.

Sorry, I had to do it.
I feel your pain, I could only imagine Lebron rocking up in Chicago, then handpicking players he wants to play with and taking over the team, how annoying :(

Why wouldn't you want Ray Allen, one of the most clutch shooter in the history of the NBA? Also, Ray's work ethic and discipline can actually help rub off on those young players. They also might learn a thing or two on how to become a deadly shooter.

...because I don't want this to be the Heat 2.0. I want the team to create its own identity. It isn't an anti-Ray Allen thing. It isn't even an anti-Heat thing.
It's just a case of me not wanting a team full of NBA mercenaries. Miller and Jones should provide plenty of shooting. We need to focus on getting a shot-blocking big now.

I see where you are coming from, but I don't know if I trust Miller and Jones to make that clutch shot in the biggest moment. Cavs should have went and got Allen first.

So the Cavs are surrounding bran with his chosen spot up shooters..
Incoming bran iso ball, need to pad those assists:lol

only way for Lebron to stat pad is with shooters
this might backfire if Irving decides to become a playmaker more often :applause:
