yeah, its pretty weird. maybe everyones under the assumption the suns will match, but even so, offer him a contract

or maybe health concerns are in the back of every GM's mind.

All indications are that Eric Bledsoe market has closed as no suitors w sufficient cap space to force Suns to not match.

At this point Bledsoe will likely sign qualifying offer and test market next year unless long term deal can be worked out.

Same reason Greg Monroe isn't getting offers, everyone assumes he will stay where he is.

Still pretty crazy. I would have thought that Phoenix would see if Minnesota would take a Bledsoe-based package (assuming Love would stay there) for K-Love. Imagine if Phoenix swung for the fences with all their cap room and signed Lance + Ariza then completed a deal based around Bledsoe S&T + Morris twins + pick(s) for Love:

Starters : Dragic-Lance-Ariza-Love-Plumlee
Bench : Goodwin-Green-Tucker-Tolliver-Len
Reserves : Ennis-Warren-filler

Lance and Ariza have already been signed ...

The point was at beginning of FA...not now. I meant being aggressive and using cap space early in the game instead of sitting on it and waiting for other dominoes to drop. I know they had dreams of pairing LBJ-Melo on this squad, but perhaps those other moves would have been more realistic. Considering the deals Ariza & Lance got, Phoenix certainly could have signed them.

Injury risk maybe. I don't think the Suns would match the offer though since they just got Thomas

Philly should consider making him an offer. He's young, he's talented, and they have to spend their cap room somehow.

Everyone knew the Suns would match. No point in wasting three days of your cap space when other dudes need to be signed.

I don't know but I think Lakers could've signed him before we filled our cap with Hill, Young and Lin.

Not crazy at all. In reality it is pretty common for high profile RFA's not to receive any offers until much later in the summer.

Injuries. GMs will risk on bigs because there aren't many. They are less inclined to risk on a guard because there are more of them. In addition, this offseason was held up by lebron and carmelo and it really messed things up for a lot of guys.

They don't have to spend their cap room anywhere and thy certainly won't on any big ticket free agents.
