View Full Version : So when the Heat suck this year...

How many Lebron haters are gonna try to blame it on the loss of James Jones, a dude who never even played. :lol
When Cleveland epically sucked after Bron's departure Bron haters were trying to say it wasn't only cause they lost Lebron, but because they also lost a washed up Shaq and Big Z! :facepalm
I see history repeating itself this year once it becomes apparent the Heat will struggle to win 40 games. "But...but they didn't just lose Lebron, they lost Battier and James Jones too!"

Well the Heat will win more than double the games the Cavs won the year after LeBron left so your thread is fail. Go get attention somewhere else.
It'll be more like the 93-94 Bulls because we aren't a bunch of crying, quitter, losers.

Depends entirely on Wade. If he's struggling most of the year, they will struggle to win mid 40s. If he's really hurting, they're going to struggle to win 40 games. They aren't winning 50 unless Wade is 100% healthy and contributing to the most of his all time abilities.

Why are we going to suck?
1. Your best player is broken down and can't take over games anymore. He can take over quarters and sometimes even an entire half, but his days of dominating on a consistent basis are long gone.
2. Bosh is still a softy who can't defend decent bigs, and you guys gave him 120 million! :lol In the words of my dad, "If Bosh isn't hitting his jumpers what good is he?" He's not shutting down the paint, he's not rebounding, and he's not putting opposing bigs in foul trouble. :confusedshrug:
3. Mario Chalmers is still your best point guard. Nuff said
You are forgetting just how flawed your team is, and how many of those flaws Lebron was able to cover up the last 4 years.

:lol great point. The Cavs went from 61 wins to 19 and these guys were out here citing washed up Shaq and Big Z.
The Heat likely will finish 4th-6th in the East, which would be a disappointment for a team with 2 superstars (the only East team with multiple superstars) and 3 all-stars (Deng).
Side note: LeBron went 6-0 in Miami when Bosh and Wade did not play. Let's see what they can do without him.

Well... the Cavs aren't going to suddenly be as good as last year's Heat... don't see that happening.
However, the Cavs this year will be better than the Heat this year unless LeBron has season ending in jury. Bank on it.
Id rather not Heat threads become a battle ground for Lebron stans and Lebron haters to further dumb agendas.

That's the thing, what makes anyone who has watched Wade the last 3 years think he has any chance of staying 100 percent healthy for an entire 82 game season? :wtf:
They let him take half of this past season off, and he STILL managed to rack up injuries! The elephant in the room that all Heat fans wanna ignore is that Wade was NOT hurt during the Finals, he just sucked. As I said, Wade can no longer take over on a consistent basis. He will have a few vintage games next season, but they will be far and few between, especially seeing as how he won't be single covered anymore like he was when he had Lebron beside him.

precisely
there were (painful) times in which Wade was still trying to do things he could do in 2006-2010 but no more these days
for instance his painful lack of vertical when something as simple as fighting for a rebound
his lack of explosiveness compared to his Flash days earlier on
and so on so forth.

Some of these people are irrationally hating on the Heat but there's also some people irrationally defending the Heat. It's going both ways, with few posters in the middle, which tends to be reality.
In my not so humble opinion, LeBron impacts the game even more than people realize, and I think that will finally sink in with people based on the results Heat put up this year unless Wade makes an improbable and miraculous comeback.

My only point, as my Orlando Magic friend draws my attention back to focus on this thread, is that the Heat have just a good a chance of anyone else in the East this year so the OP won't see anyone even having this theoretical discussion he is expecting.
Why? Because the Heat have just a chance as anyone else to compete, and the Cavs did what clevelanders and their teams do, curl up and cry.

Let's use the LeBron hater logic regarding this roster. The Heat have:
*1 #1 pick
*1 #2 pick

*1 #5 pick (2 if they bring back Ray Allen)

They have 4 players who have been all-stars (5 with Allen). Wow. Stacked!

it was due to him actually giving a f*ck again about his body to prove a point.

He did put up 24/11 in 2010, which is, unless your splitting hairs, the basic equivalent of a 25/10 season. It's amazing to me that people think he's going to start surpassing his Toronto numbers when he's now 30 and still has to share the ball with Wade

21/6 ast/4 rpg for Wade

14 ppg/3.5 apg for Deng
Good enough to be a solid squad. If Riley can add one more good piece at the deadline they'll be ok.
